Colts were woeful apparently.

I would be worried if the Colts were anything but! The Colts are horrible every year in the preseason and they sit guys out with bruised pinkies. Can't wait to see more of Donald Brown.

He had the Rams, who will be lucky to win 4 games. But still he has the confidence to succeed. The Jets should be better off this year than they were with Favre.

i would be worried if i was a Colts fan, even PManning wont do much behind that oline. There was a lot of discontent a few months ago around the new coaching regime and the players feeling like they didnt know what they were doing

Back in 1989 Dallas went 3-1 in the preseason. After that hopes were high for a great season. The Cowboys finished 1-15.

Don't pay too much attention to preseason results and performances.

McCoy had an outstanding game for the Eagles. He looked like a season vet out there, making some very nice plays, got into the secondary for 10+ yards a number of times.
Weaver was solid too, i think he'll be a good player for us. Peters whiffed on a few blocks and cost us dearly, he needs to fix that up
Maclin looked the goods too, he'll be a stud i think

Other than that, our red zone was again disappointing, we had chances to TD on the Pats but couldnt convert, it was an issue last year too. Such a shame Cornelus Ingram did his knee again, he would have really given us a good red zone weapon, i am worried about us at Tight End now without him and also LB is an issue

The 2 starting tackles were out and Lilja was playing his first game in forever. The Vikings have argueably the best DL in the NFL. The Colts have had horrible preseasons for the last half decade and haven't had a problem in the regular season.

As far as the discontent, don't believe everything you see on Sportscenter.

The Lions are undefeated in their last 5 pre season games. Hope they leave something in the tank for the regular season.
