I wasn't singing Kearney's praises after the win, because I know weekly results have nothing to do with the coach.

Last week our shit squad got lucky. Last night they didn't.

Our squad isn't shit. Even you thought we would make the 8 at the start of the season.

Mate, every man and his dog at the ground could see that Inglis was in a LOT of pain immdiately after and for at least a further 10 minutes. It was f**king dumb not to kick it to him, get down there quickly and smash him. Just f**king dumb. Every other team would do it to Hayne.

If he was staying on the field there was nothing wrong with him. We saw that when he was offloading for tries and manhandling merkins on his tryline.

He played 80 minutes for f**k's sake.

He was clearly having major issues considering he could barely move his arm for approximately ten minutes. He was struggling majorly and nearly went off the field twice. I could see that without having to look up at either of the replay screens, and I was at the other end of the field.

We should have at least attempted to exploit his obvious frailty. It might have been temporary and there is every chance kicking to him would have been equally ineffective as it was to the wingers but any first grade player with a semblance of vision would have taken a merciless approach.

Not that I am saying I was hoping to exasperate his injury; I was one of very few fans, Souths or Eels, in the section that was genuinely concerned for him. That isn't even an exaggeration. But to not direct attention to the injury is a laughable indication of our failure to identify weaknesses in defensive structures.

Oh dear, weren't you the one saying you're only as good as your last game?

I get mine from disgruntled ex-employees of the club and other nuffie wannabes big-noting about their connections.

Where so you get yours from?
Well, seeing as how you ask, I get mine from well inside the Club.... Believe it or not, there are actually some people on these forums that have information from inside the Club.....

So which are you..... The disgruntled ex-employee or the nuffie wannabe ?

RJ, apparently that rule only goes for the players - and never for the coach...

Coaches should be judged on entire seasons, not individual games.

Kearney's only as good as his last season, and last season I thought he went quite well.

I thought you were fond of telling us all that a coach can't take any credit for their performance in their first season at a club, because the squad was all inherited and they couldn't be fully in control of all aspects?

I think you're confusing the coach's performance with that of the team.

No surprise though, you've been doing it all year.

No-one's ever said the players aren't partly responsible?

It's just some people see the best solution to get in a better coach who can get the best out of the cattle he has, rather than sack all 25 players and hope.

Yeh, and that argument is continually peddled around here.
And you reckon Poupou makes shit up to suit his argument.
