than the Dragons to win the comp this year than any other in the past twenty years?

I can't think of one.

They would have to win it this year don't you think?

Do you think the players feel it?

Pressure is immense, it's really getting to the fans as well (lol) which is why they have been losing it all over this board in the past couple of days

They are a dead sh*t team, don't deserve to win the premiership. I'd rather see teams like Wests or Roosters win, proponents of attractive football who will advance the game

Always pressure on every team from different sources. There's every chance they may do a Croker, allowing one of the other teams to do a Bradbury

Comparitavely I think the Titans, Dragons and Tigers are all under the same pressure because they were all expected to do well this year. The Roosters are under less pressure because they have come from a low point last season. Come Grand Final day the pressure should be equal, no one goes into a grand final just happy to be there.

I think they do deserve to win the comp. They've been the best team for two years in a row, why don't they deserve to win it?

As for their boring style, it's not their fault that style is most conducive to winning. Maybe the NRL needs to change the rules to reward more exciting play (like knock-ons and accidental forward passes resulting in a play-the-ball to the recovering team, rather than a handover).

St George lack game-breakers but that's just because there are too few going around and some teams hoard them - the sooner the salary cap breaks up Carney and Pearce the better.

To minimise the necessity for topline halves, the rules could also be changed to limit the importance of a top-shelf kicking game.

More offloads and less kicking would lead to more exciting football, but the rules need to support that by making it less risky as a strategy. And as an Eels fan it would suit my enigmatic sh*thouse team.

They've had pressure and should have atleast made 3 GF's in the mid 2000's were all sitting back for another prelim finals choke!

Does this make sense to anyone?

The Dragons winning will advance the game far more than the Roosters or Tigers winning

The Dragons are by far the best team atm. The Roosters are still developing and the Tigers aren't even that much better than they were 2006-2009. It wouldn't be an advance in standards at all if either of those half-baked sides won the comp (and this comes from someone supporting the Tigers, btw)

There is always pressure when you wear the big red V. With expecation comes pressure, this is something waiders_pwemiers would not understand.

I have noticed that the Tigers have been talking it up thus far. I would have imagined they would be better served concentrating on the game. Anywho saints 36-16.

  As opposed to Dragons fans. Good one

 What is your team planning on kicking 10+ penalty goals?

Yeah we have been talking it up. I think you'll find I was actually talking about the club, not the fans.

If it means we get to play again next week, I really couldn't care.

Who are the Faiders playing again this week ?

They arent game breakers either , carney is a dangerous player what can turn a game against bad defence, but not a game breaker against good defence with pearce at halfback which puts pressure on carney to do the attack for 5/8 & halfback.

Pearce is the worst halfback going around

Certainly would be nice to See either St George-Illawara or the Goldcoast win the first ever premierships in their history though.

What a crock of sh*t.
The better team is the team that deserves the premiership and if it's the dragons then so be it.
