Every single player left in the finals has pressure. Every single one of them would want it as much as the next. The external factors are nothing in comparison.

I'd rather have Ben Hornby in my team than Mitchell Pearce. Although Scott Prince is the top halfback in the NRL. Pearce will melt under pressure v Titans as he always goes missing against quality queensland halves. Pearce's poor kicking game will cost the Roosters.

Dragons for obvious reasons but in the case of the titans I believe that this may be their last chance to win a comp with an aging side and playing at home in front of 50,000 adds to the pressure.

Since we're being fair, I wouldn't tar all Raiders fans with the RP brush, plenty of them just want to come here to have a chat about footy. Sure there are a couple of tools, but we all find ourselves with some fellow supporters we would gladly disown.

As a non Dragons fan I would call it the way that qualifying finals football can go.

Being a Sharks fan though this is not something you should be at all concerned with

The pressure is fuggen enormous but Bennet seems to be keeping them out of the hype of it all.
No fan parades through the streets of the gong this year.

This week The Tigers are going the other way and trying to win it off the back of confidence.

The week off probably won't help the Dragons players who were given a week off a fortnight ago.

This is their chance to win it...next year I think the boat will have sailed away.

Next year we'll see the Raiders and Panthers a lot wiser/stronger plus the Storm will be back.
Dogs look to be a force...while Dragons are shedding 2 awesome players in Smith and Costigan.


If it is a tight game and goes golden point Tigers will be cruising with match fitness.

Last year could be written off as a bad finals campaign but this year?? No.
They are overwhelming favorites to win and rightly so.
Like Carch said tho, wouldn't surprise me if they lost.
This is their comp to lose - best team for the last 2 years, better this year than last even.

I have stuck through thick and thin with the Sharks, I was there in 99 when we choked a week shy of the big one, I have no problem admitting we choked that day. Let's see what happens comes Sunday morning if the dragons lose on saturday night........
