Bottom Line
The Vodafone Warriors rallied late to no avail against the defending premiers Manly in Round 1 and they'll try to break their win duck with a visit to Parramatta in Round 2.
The Eels also had a loss to open the season, going down 18-6 to the Broncos in a game marred by wet weather. The Vodafone Warriors played on a glorious track at Eden Park, so they need to be prepared to adapt to the ordinary Sydney weather of late.
Shaun Johnson was the star in Round 1, scoring a try and setting up three more, and he'll need more support from
James Maloney,
Feleti Mateo and
Kevin Locke as they look to fire in attack from the start this week.
Big Sione Lousi gets a start and will be keen to rip into a Parramatta front row that features Tim Mannah and Mitchell Allgood in the starting team and FuiFui MoiMoi and Justin Poore on the bench. With Lousi's promotion, Russell Packer goes back to the interchange.
The game is also set to be the run-on debut for Konrad Hurrell who was unleashed midway through the first half of the Manly game.
There is a chance Jarryd Hayne and Willie Tonga may play given the game is late in Round 2, so the Vodafone Warriors can't take the Eels lightly.
