He sure does look fired up,interesting to see a few grubbers in behind the defence & some ball movement. We must surely be looking at playing a more attacking game next season. If they have been training all off season for it we will see a better example than last season where i think it was a bit of this & a bit of that

Strange to see players even doing ball work at this stage in the pre-season... Usually it's a hard fitness slog up until christmas, then heavy ball work in the new year.

yeah thats what i thought as well..
conditioning and strength training through to the new year and then move onto ballwork, defence, set plays etc.
i hope doing ballwork so early in the piece in an effort to improve our attack doesnt leave the guys underdone in strength and conditioning for the start of the season..

I'm sure they are doing the hard slogs, there was a gallery on the Dragons website of them doing a pretty steep lookig hill etc.

Some of the players have come out and said that this pre-season has been pretty tough.....then again it's not like they will come out and say that it's a piece of cake.

Seems he's thrown off the dour faced clipped responses learnt from Bennett. Compared to last season he's Mr Personality!

If he can get across what he wants from the team and they actually listen then he has a half chance of success I think his biggest problem was some of the senior players had their way and refused to change.

Now some of them have moved on and some fresh blood has come in hopefully they will actually try and do somethings instead of being robotic in their approach.

There are fewer players this year. I'm told that there is some truth to your suggestion CD
Good luck to Price
He'll need it but he deserves a break too.

Fitness isn't all about 10km runs and 400m sprints like the old days.

You can get fitness results from drills and games. Both these have the advantage of skill develoepment as well as well as higher enjoyment from the participants. It is about working smarter and not harder.

He seems to be "growing into" the role. f**k knocking him, he's our coach for next year, I hope him well.

Big opportunity for Price to impress in 2013 if he can get the Dragons to fire, his stocks will rise along with an upgraded contract. He had a mediocre 2012 but that can all change if he can motivate the team and build a winning culture at the club next season.
