A very funny post match interview on ABC radio between Mick Weyman & biased commentator Matt Head. He was being well wished on his career and his coming move to the UK S/L. Head then said the club has a bright future and is in good hands with Price as coach. Micks reply was along the lines of....I love my time at this club & I love Wollongong. Diplomatic reply and no mention of the Price questioning. Sounds to me like Pricey may not be as popular as he thinks.

LOL Just watched the presser. My fave quote from Pricey was " sometimes you have to go backwards before you can go forward".. REALLY! Well I really hope we go forwards from here Pricey, because this club has not been reversing at such pace in over 60 years... We were lucky not to reverse right into a f**king spoon this year you Muppet!

Typical Price BS dribble. The context of his comments throughout the year are about saving face and his arse, As opposed to actually taking on a little humility and accountability. His comments in an interview on NRL.com highlight this. "I have a contract for next year", Thus, My job is safe as I have a piece of paper and I should not be held accountable on that basis. On ya Steve.

On 104.9 this morning about 12.18 Wendell and the crew were in raptures about Price being a great coach and how he did'nt have the cattle . How other coaches rate him highly and We are expected to give him next year to show us how good he really is with cattle he got to pick ( interesting since the board went over his head and bought players they wanted ) . Anyway can someone put the link to that program on please?

It seems Price has a lot of mates in the media.

Price says he's learnt alot from this year. He said the exact same thing after his first year as coach. He also said they we're going to work very hard in the off season on their attaking structure for 2013 but what did we see? Nothing. We went backwards and looked worse than 2012.

My prediction: the 'independent' review will blame Steve Folkes and look we already got rid of him....

It seems he uses the good bloke thing as a safety net for his shortcomings as a coach.Apparently he's mate of plenty of people & this seems to stop them from criticising him.

As mentioned by others on this forum he never takes responsibility for the failures of the team & never criticises the players. I don't expect him to bag them after every loss, but when it's warranted he needs to tell the truth. He must realise that fans aren't stupid & don't want him being like the nice guy judge on talent shows who always says positive things about every contestant. The fans don't want him to just regurgitate this politically correct rubbish that doesn't allow people to criticise people for fear of offending them or leaving them damaged goods.

It's time to start being honest & being accountable for your actions. Don't sidestep them or try to conceal them with sugar coated cliches.
