The chance of Morrison coming to WTs would have to be close to zer when you think of the circumstances that he left in.Love to see it but I just cant see it happening. And why would we need a half when we have Prince/Marsall???

Stringer and Geddes are both good prospects, although they are injury prone so that would be a risk in itself.

One thing thats for sure is that we must be active in the player market.

I like that Dean Young, for a young 2nd rower he's doing some very good things,if it were up to me i'd buy a couple of young talented guys on the way up.

Young,Kite and Ross would be prime targets ;-)

Kurt Gidley is coming on sooo well isn't he. That's why I reckon Joey will be on the market. If the Knights don't wrap young Kurt up for 4 or 5 well before June 30 I'll give it up.

Either way there is a very good chance of some quality halves hitting the market and dead set the Tigers should be after one. Even if they can only pick up Head then they'll have done well.

If they can nail one of the props on offer too, then it will have been a very successful recruitment season.

You all need to change your approach to signing players. Offer more and they will come? You have to pay a player for what they are. Sure, we have have to pay more then the better sides but it has to be reasonable. You can't pay any price for a player simply to get him. He should also want to come. If he is playing for money alone then he isn't going to be committed, i.e terry hill. Players like hodgson and prince have proven to be top quality buys because they both have something to prove and wanted to play. I'm sure we offered more then other clubs to get them but they want to play and have turned up this season. Can the same be said for any of the players we bought in 2000? It was all about the dollars then. So we offer them what they deserve and a little extra for committing to a bad side and if they turn us down then we'd be better off without them. It is a terrible policy to have to pay anything to get anyone. That not only means you'll spend more then you should on most players, it also means you're buying players that aren't neccesarily compatible with our side. So let's be tight arses this offseason!
