How would you rate Prior’s game last night?
Is he trying too hard?
Seemed to make more errors than the rest of the team combined

He's also had errors in his game, which he has minimised, still an important part of the team. Like the way he fired up after he made an error when we were hitting their line...

I'm not a huge prior fan, but to his defence i must say, he is surrounded by football players with brilliance. So any mistakes he makes will come under close scrutiny.

i think i'll let someone impartial sum up prior's game...

was watching the game with my brother last night, who is a dragons fan but doesn't watch that many games each year..

he had no idea who prior was before the game, but by the end he was saying "oh no" everytime he saw prior get the ball, or make a tackle..

that pretty much sums it up..

saffy's actually going pretty well down here for the rebels..

he's broken into the starting side & has become quite a handy player.. he's mentioned quite frequently in the papers as one of the better players for them...

His execution with ball handling, tackling and clearing the ruck were all awry last night
Maybe he needs to step back emotionally from the game a little and concentrate on technique and focus

I think Prior just had an off night and knowing Young will reclaim the starting Lock spot sooner rather than later just wanted to rip in as much as he could. I don't think he'll ever be a player to grab any headlines but we'll notice his absence if injured or suspended.

Did like the way he fired up after giving away a penatly.

i have never been a fan of prior and have seen nothing this season to change my mind. a handy backup player at best and wont be in the starting team once young gets back to full fitness.
he seems to have quantity but no quality:
- makes a lot of tackles but is often second man in, or jumper grabbing. players always remain on their feet when he tackles them, often causing a quick play the ball.
- makes a lot of runs, but very ineffective, never breaks the line, never runs with any purpose or intensity.

i would like to see Peni Tagive or Jack Bosden get a chance on the bench in the coming weeks to see if they can have more impact then what Prior adds..

Has some off days but I rate him highly, I'm sure plenty of other clubs would love to have him on their roster.

If he could control the ball & use that agro in a positive way, "The Tap" could become more like Beau Scott. He has potential to be a rep player, but seems to be holding back at times. Those 2 consecutive tackles after an error near Souths' line illustrated that.

Prior has had abit of butterfingers lately however i beleive he still is a class player and will continue to grow.
Last years finals series he was an absolute rock and spending all off-season watching the victory pack, i didnt realise how massive he actually was for us.

This kid killed it in the Charity Shield and Priors form has been aweful so far...why not give Bosden a crack

Prior needs to focus on the simple things, like zero mistakes and zero crap penalties. He either looks tied or nervous all the time.

He is reminding me more and more of dick head Ryles....god help us all.

They are the most patient football team in the world. This is no accident. It's a very deliberate mindset that permeates the club off the field:

the players remain patient on the field
the coaching staff remain patient with class players down on form
the young up and comers need to patiently wait for their opportunities in the top side.

No need to mess with this formula. It obviously works

He was the pick of the young brigade in the finals last year ahead of even Merrin, form is temporary, class is permanent, filled in admirably for Saffy when he was out. It doesn't help that his own fans keep bagging him, remember Ryles?, but I thought Ryles deserved it, however we must let our young lions grow and if it means making some errors along the way, so be it. These guys are the ones that are gonna help us lift the trophy early October, not the likes of an untried Bosden with all due respects to him.
