I believe that Prior does have another gear and it's worth persevering for a while
A week in park footy or just a game watching while say Bosden was given a little more exposure prior to some of our forwards getting Origin duty may be in order
Let's hope that he has a blinder against the Chooks!

The kid's filled in everywhere from centre to front row and is incredibly skillful and agile for a big fella. He's put in some solid performances for us over the last few years and I personally think he has the potential to grow into one of the top backrowers in the game - with time and perseverance.

You don't just go around dropping players every time they have one or two bad games. Look at what its done to Parramatta and Penrith?

You also need to stop crapping on about Bosden every time a player has a bad game. We've won 5 from 6 this year so whats the problem?

Prior is a fantastic worker and consistently tops the tackle count. I do think he is better suited to playing on the edge however. Early 09 he was in fantastic form and he was a little wider down our right edge.

He makes a few mistakes in one game and we're bagging him??? he's a starting player for us that gets the job done full stop, he'll make an error from time to time but what player dosen't?

This kid killed it in the Charity Shield and Priors form has been aweful so far...why not give Bosden a crack

one good charity sheild match does not automatically translate into good regular season form..

I think Prior makes mistakes due to his effort. He puts in all game, every game. I think we'll look back in years to come and wonder how we ever thought of dropping him.

The only problem I see is the amount of good young players who are absolutely itching for a run. Roll on SOO!

Prior is probably in the starting side for many reasons - most of which, we aren't privvy to. However, the most important reason is: because Bennett says so.

I think it was Ryan; most of us are saying that he's worth perseverance but could use a little focus on his work. I bet Souths supporters are glad that Lang finally saw the light regarding Talanoa and Wesser.

I've never rated Prior, said so last year, but everyone defended him as he had great stats, but I never felt like he was getting over the advantage line despite his metres gained.

In any case hes an ok 1st-grader, the kind of player we are going to need in 2011 and probably 2012, we just dont have the depth anymore after losing quality like Saffy & Smith.

Prior had an off game but when I watched it the second time I also saw how hard he was ripping in. A much tougher player this year. The whole pack looks harder (even Creagh). I think Prior is an excellent player. Very clever, very cool, very talented. It was just one of those days. And yes he is trying too hard.
