Aside from bagging out on people for having their opinions, I say we should just be applauding the players for digging deep today.

Lots of injuries against a big pack, and almost got 'em.

Canterbury were smashed, Easts can thank us later.

Totally agree and the whole team did us all very very proid. A real gutsy effort and perhaps the injuries beat us in the end. The team tried their guts tonight and deserve our accolades.

Just got home, so proud of our Dragons, we gave it 110% but they got us with a frkn field goal. Still don't believe that Benji try was obstruction, don't start me on Kasiano and Pritchard cheap shots on Widdop....
Finally I must say some of those Digs fans coming out of gate B were idiots , sore winners or what?!

You were at the game. I wasn't as I live in Perth but I got to commend the refs on their performance. I think they got it pretty much right. I felt like the Dogs were reffed fairly despite Graham's constant whinging. We wouldn't have heard the end of it about the offside penalty (that according to Stirling was the wrong call because it touched Nightingale) if the Dragons had of won.

Never good to lose on a field goal...

Very proud tonight ...the grubs beat us by 1 point.....and basically we were down to 15 men for quite a time in the second half....I lost a bit of time tonight for James Graham who tried every trick in the book to unsettle our boys...allegations of biting, then trying to put Widdop off his attempt at goal by arguing with the ref that he had moved his kicking cone infield....jeez I would have loved to have beaten them just to see the look on Tolmans face...along with Reynolds he was in the refs ear all night

Punched above their weight litterally and metophorically. A lot of if's and butt's will be spoken of in relation to ref's decisions, there always is, but i didn't see anything glaringly obvious that i thought was an outright dud decision. So I'll cop the result with my head held high, but all those blokes in the Big Red V can hold their's a lot higher, monumental effort, couldn't be prouder of the effort.

As I said in a previous post Kasiano and Pritchard should be sited...one for the dropped knee and the other for the forearm whilst Widdop was on the ground....would have loved it if their cheap shots would have been responsible for them losing the game....still it might come back to haunt them if they miss next weeks game against The Roosters

Fair dinkum, not only did Widdop get up from that but he also kicked a goal.

Cheap shot stuff from Kasiano and Pritchard. I understand the incident is on report so at least one of them should be suspended. Easts will benefit the most.

How Gareth didn't end up paralysed after 400kg hit him at 100kmph I will never know. It was cheap. It was ugly and those idiots should consider themselves very lucky they didn't end Widdop's career. Now face they must face the consequences for their actions.

The pressure was on Rein and Widdop, as it turns out Widdop stepped up the most. Keep in mind that Thompson was also forced off. We were down to 2 reserves. It's a credit to the whole team that we got so close against the odds.

Extremely proud of all of them and their effort.
Courageous defence and almost got them in the end just from hanging in there.
We were unlucky with the benji injury as i think he was just starting to run it more and look dangerous.
Hard way to loose with golden point but thats the way it goes sometimes.
It was a tough game to be at and a real roller coaster ride of a game but love the dragons and wouldn't have it any other way
