Ps2 crashes

i got the ps2 version but not been able to play it yet. i've heard the crashing is due to overheatin. just wondering if any of the UK people have had same problems?

PS. the reason i aint played it yet is NOT due to the crashing, just not had chance. just heard a lot about the crashing

It has only happened to me on two occasions, and that was during a marathon session when I got the game on release day and when I had friends round. As long as you save regulary it is not a problem.

I've it crash like once since I got it. Not a problem at all.

Its crashed on me twice, and froze on me no end of times, where the clock continues but no player movement can occur.

it hasnt crashed on my mates ps2 before....
