Its a 17-man squad of players the Knights didn't keep.

Includes some handy names - Shibasaki, Grant Anderson, Kiraz, Hosking, Mann, Connor Watson, Fermor...

Not sure on context but guessing its meant to highlight poor recruitment/retention decisions which may have contributed to their current struggles.

Just had a quick look at when some of those guys left Newcastle.. other than Fermor, they all left during AOB’s tenure.

Seems generous to absolve AOB of any responsibility for bad retention decisions. I know he wouldn’t have been the only decision maker, but he must’ve had at least some input as HC.

And if he didn’t, then the club’s got bigger problems.
