Psicosis signs with WWE

http://www.wrestleview.com/news2005/1111072497.shtml[/url]]- In a press release sent out by the Lucha VaVOOM promotion, they confirmed the rumor around the business that WWE has signed former WCW cruiserweight Psicosis to a contract. This is certainly good news for the WWE cruiserweight division. It has also been heavily rumored that Super Crazy will be signed to WWE contract shortly, although it has not been confirmed as of yet.

Part of the press release reads as follows...

Lucha VaVOOM has chosen Chicago for their surreal Cinco de Mayo celebration; Lucha legend Blue Demon, Jr. returns to Chicago with Solar to battle the evil Rey Misterio and Psicosis (in his final appearance before joining the WWE). Ultra-minis and Lucha VaVOOM favorites Tsuki and Mascarita Sagrada take on full sized wrestlers!

Too bad all these wrestlers are going to do no good, just look at the Ultimo Dragon...just a plain jobber.

They need to make an LWO type stable to get these Luchadores over, have it lead by Eddy or something, give them some pride as well.

The need to make cruiserweight fueds worthwhile.....they need to throw in some 6 man lucha tag matches right at the start of Raw or Smackdown and they need to make it full of frenetic action and they need to stop with the crap gimmicks ala Akio?

That is a disgrace to hear that Ultimo Dragon has become a jobber - that guy is one of the best wrestlers when it comes to pure wrestling perfection......the problem with the WWE's cruiser div is that they don't do what WCW did by using Mexican wrestlers (albeit unknown) to throw some variation into the division - guys like Silver King, El Dandy, Ciclope, Lizmark Jr, La Parka, etc....hell, if they have something against Mexicans why don't they give some U.S. indy guys a start? This gives the WWE real chance with cruisers what they should do is have couple matches on smackdown then a 1 hour cruiserweight show, this would pay for itself with sponsors in Latin America alone, within 6 months we would get coverage, they could have 1 match outside of the cruisers on the show
