Pulling something...

I'm happy for Capes if he goes up there for some dosh. He was the unsung hero that never played in the GF. The weeks approaching he was the Mr. Fixit. Covered any position that was needed. I hope they gave him one of those extra rings for the win because he deserved it. Please no connotations with my wording, he really did more than help us there, especially the Raiders game.

Always had a soft spot for Capes. He gives 100 percent every time he is on the field. Uncanny and has a red-hot go. NSW made him look like an origin legend last year too.
Hope he gets that contract he deserves whether it be broncos or whomever ends up getting his services.

I hope the Broncos pay massive stupid money to Capewell. He deserves the pay day and the Broncs deserve the cap headaches of having to over pay to rebuild.

Short on forward leaders though

Do you reckon he's a leader?

He's a capable forward and certainly gives his all but I don't know if he's a leader.

He's really only had 2 full year of first grade since his debut.

I reckon he will be in the Broncos Kiddie pack. Years in first grade don't define a leader anyway.

I'm with Frenzy. I think Capes it precisely what the Broncos need: someone with a heap of experience and is 100% effort all game, every game.

Way too many show boaters in that lineup.

Fair enough.

For the same money as between the two I definitely be taking Capewell back, that's for sure.

It's a bit like "doing the same thing over and over and hoping for different results". He has improved a lot though.
