Are you saying that Dugan is good?

We used to have fans that thought that too, until the club blinkers came off.

Has to be a relation. He thinks because Dugan tries harder than other players he doesn’t deserve to be criticised for all the dumb shit he does.

Tries harder? If Duges tried harder maybe he could play the ball within 20 seconds of being tackled.

This. His play the ball speed is a f**king disgrace.

Its like playing the ball fast doesn't do anything for Duges so why put in the effort to get a fast PTB? Duges is not there to help his teammates look better. Fifita is the same although at least he has impact.

I heard Josh Morris can solve a Rubiks cube, with his left hand in 6 seconds.

No problem he cannot fix.

I reckon some serious goal kicking practice is happening.

Who will kick this week?

Feel for him.

Need to get that gun right edge combo back. Why Morris f**ked with it is beyond me...

Xerrie is heaps better on the left. Morris is good anywhere bagged 3 at LW. I'd have him RC inside Dugan with Xerrie LC and someone else (Feki, Gray, Capewell - our options aren't good) outside him.

The problem with Cronulla is the coach I reckon. I found Morris appointment to be a laugh when I first heard it and I've seen nothing from them to say that I was off base yet. Everything from them is down since Flanagan's departure, from energy to defensive effectiveness to the halves performing well. Gallen is well past it and his retirement is mercifully looming, Sharon is a Dave Taylor style peaheart who has devolved into a serviceable at best prop, Johnson was their big shiny signing in the off season and he just got the shepherds hook against the Baby Broncos and they can't kick goals to save themselves.

The appointment of Morris as coach was not necessarily about his potential as a first grade coach. Both Flanagan and the club has stuffed up over the years resulting in Flanges sacking and fines for the club.
Take Flanges $1M salary away, Morris would be on minimal coaches wage. A saving of money that would go towards the fines.
Morris is the right one to bring all the young fellas through, he has been working with them for years. Whether or not he can handle the egos of the older players is the real question.
