This is becoming Labor's own version of the "Children Overboard" scandal and the Bush led US Government's "weapons of mass destruction" campaign.

And where is ASADA's commitment to investgating other teams like Manly ( Danks there a lot longer than the few weeks at the Sharks) and Parra both mentioned. But no, its all about us, but they have nothing and not the guts to look elsewhere.

What a lot of garbage.

There may not be enough evidence to take the matter further but it is evident from what has been discussed that the players knowingly or not took questionable and illegal substances.

I have as little respect for the players as I do for the Melbourne players who signed multiple contracts to get around (cheat) the salary cap.

Instead of all the self interest everyone should want the sport cleaned up and that means the players telling the truth about what supplements they took and on whose advise they took said substances.

Well you're right in a way but you're caught up in this as well. It is all garabage and none of us and that means you as well know the truth about this. So while your intent is sound enough, your comment about "what is evident..." is based on the same ignorant information source as ours and therefore is also garbage. So champion who do you follow?

And Greena, where do you stand on pain killing injections? ALL clubs practice this.

And I'll ask too - what club do you follow?

Coastal Shark, I follow the eels. Why do you ask? Do you think my opinion would change if Parra players were involved. Mine wouldn't but sound like yours would.

Also, I don't know why you seek to compare taking legal pain killing injections to taking illegal/banned substances.

I ask this question, if the players did not knowingly take illegal/banned substances why are they not jumping at the chance to tell all and clear their names.

If the players were misled by club doctors/officials and were unaware that they weer taking illegal substances they should not be punished. I don't think this is the case or are they trying to use the same excuse of ignorance as the Melbourne players did

You've never been part of a team a club or anything where sticking by your mates meant anything have you?

Just let it play out mate. Think yourself lucky that you don't have to worry about your team.

Seems parra coaching staff are up to their eyeballs in it

Is mannah lying about his brother?

If asada don't want to interview players it seems they don't think it's important afterall

Is mannah lying about his brother?

I think this is a really important aspect to the reaction to this whole mess.

I doubt many fans, or reporters, view Jon Mannah as a "drug cheat". The Tele bent over backwards to make this point when the cancer link story initially broke.

But what makes Jon Mannah any different from the other players in that 2011 squad. He is either as guilty as the others, or they are as innocent as he is, surely.

Eels - who's part of your coaching staff?

Pain killers, whilst legal are still a form of performance enhancing. No needle, no game. Pretty simple.

Nothing has been proven as to the alleged taking of illegal drugs. Nothing.
