Have to be one of the best Penrith games I've ever attended, the atmosphere in the den was incredible. Allianz is a top stadium, looks and feels great even with 20k

Great win Penrith. Should be very proud of your boys efforts this season. Brilliant to watch. Hope they can go all the way.

I'd take Docker over either Anderson or BMM, flip a coin, but I'd prefer Plum, McKendry and Kite start.

You can't drop anyone after that game. Especially from the forward pack. They just took it to a pack worth twice what ours is. They deserve to keep their spots.

Only player I would bring in if available is Peachey for Will Smith. But he would be lacking match fitness if he was available anyway.

Can we stack the reserve grade side this week? Being alive in first grade means we could throw Moylan, Soward, Segeyaro etc. in if we wanted doesn't it? Not that we would risk injuring them. But maybe the likes of Smith, BMM, Anderson, Docker etc. could be worth playing to keep them fired up.

pretty sure to play finals in reserves or u20 you have to have played more lower grade games than first grade games that year .Meaning kite would not qualify

No, in the NSW Cup finals, you have to have played a certain number of games during the regular season to qualify (otherwise, all the teams who miss the finals in first grade and still have a reserve side in the mix could send their players down to rig the comp). For the Holden Cup, the rules might be different, as that is just age based.

no this come up last year in relation to droping james roberts to u20.We where told u20 and reserves are considered the same. The rule is regardless off injury you must have played equal or more regular season games in a lower grade than first grade to play

Over 24hrs later and I am still trying to fathom how we pulled that one out of the fire. This team plays with a tenacity and spirt I have not witnessed from a Penrith side in a very long time if ever. I feel incredibly fortunate to be along for the ride.

The scary thing is we are still very much a team on the up but with us only being one game away from a GF birth there isn't really that much further we can go. I guess the aim will be to have seasons like this one consistently.

Also have to agree with other posters in saying I've never been in amongst a crowd of Penrith supporters that were so behind there team as bay 37 & 38 were last night. And when the ecstasy of the last grasp win had passed to look around and see the pride the fans had was just incredible.

NSW Cup eligibilty is thrown out the window when NRL side is going. Simmons, Yeo aren't qualified but can play incase NRL need them. In that case BMM, Anderson should go back due to getting only 20 odd mins. Docker shouldn't come in but will

Anderson has shown in his 3 games that he can play mistake free, pressure footy, his defence is never found wanting like Dockers can be when he goes for the big hits and his workrate is better than both Docker and BMM. His metres gained also better than both of them, worth another run IMO.

I think Dpcmer will come back in. Would prefer it stay the same but Docker for BMM say isn't a huge deal. Interesting to see if Yeo is still ahead of Anderson and BMM.
Need to keep DWZ in first grade now. Simmons is good but we need to play all our cards at this point.

Whatever happens in the next 3 weeks its going to be a looooong off season waiting for 2015 to kick off. Going to be weird having Peach and co to use.

I know that Docker is friendless in here, but there is a reason that Tim Sheens is rumoured to be considering him for a Kangaroo spot and I think Gorden Tallis highlighted it on Monday night football after the Dragons game. He is a fan of Docker (Tallis doesn't give praise to non-Queenslanders very often so that is quite telling) and said that once Docker started hitting the Dragons forwards with his big tackles, they went missing. He was both damning the Dragons forwards and praising Docker at the same time.

It is like the offloads vs work rate argument. Its great to do 100m a game in yardage, but a team needs second phase play to break the line in the modern game and you need offloads as well. This point was made pretty clearly against the Roosters with their forwards getting a steady stream of offloads that had us back-pedalling and scrambling in defence. Our great team ethic and work rate saved us from a number of tries. Of course, take this too far and offload willy nilly and you get a lot of turnovers and create a different set of problems.

A balanced team has work rate and power in defence. Docker provides power, as does Plum. Brown, Taylor, Robinson and others provide work rate. When Docker and Plum are on song, most forward packs start heading out to the centres to try and get away from them. A smart move on their part I reckon.
