Apparently there's a good front row prospect for NSW currently playing Under 12s. Oh and then there's always O'Meley.

I reckon Civ and Price will both go around again next year ... why shouldn't they.

That will give Hannant, Miles, Shillington, Taylor, Kenny, Scott, Ross and even Tronc another year to develop their game.

I thought Myles really stood up this year. Close to QLDs best foward. He's the heir to price and Civenoceva, he just needs a partner.

Hoepfully Dave Taylor gets a run next year along side Civ and Price so he can see what it takes as they wont be there the year after ('10)

Qld aren't screwed without Price and Civo. Sure their loss is going to hurt but so they have players coming through the ranks.

I am more worried our lack of options up front. Who have we got? We have White who should gtfo, Fitzy who had a great series but is not a prop, Mason who we all know plays his best on the edges and had very little up the middle. Then whoever else played prop were only fillers. Only player I wouldn't mind seeing back up front is Cross who played quite well in Game 3. We have Kite, Bailey who are probably our best options but the Qlders don't really fear them and I haven't seen O'Meley's form of late so I'm not sure about his credentials.

Don't forget Ben Ross if he stays in Australia. He's gone alright in Origin before, but has been cruelled by injury and suspension. If he gets some game time, he'll be next in line.

Cashmere - who I thought deserved a crack this year - is going overseas as well. I think the selection of Brett White was the single biggest selection blunder for NSW. I think I could name a handful of props who should have been selected before him, for example, Kite, O'Meley, Cashmere, Douglas, Ryles, Perry, Bailey (game two) and even Keith Galloway has shown more form this year.

Heard him on the radio yesterday, and he was asked what song he listens to to get himself into it before Origin
