Do you guys think there is any chance the NT could have a team in the QLD Cup. I know the Western Mustangs are most likely next but I think the NT would add so much to the competiton.

If the NRL are serious about only expanding at QLD/NSW cup level NT should be a strong target for QLD Cup representation. Ideally in 10 years you could have NT, WA, SA, Victoria all with teams in NSW or QLD Cup.

Internationally I'd try and cover all the Pacific in one way or another. Either by their own team (Fiji, NZ 2/3, PNG 2 etc) or by player/trial/one off game partnerships with other QLD/NSW Cup sides.

Think the NT Titans played in the Ansett Airlines Australian Challenge circa mid 90's ?
Yes I recall the Ansett Cup. Witnessed a final involving Western Australia and I cannot recall their opposition. It was an early game to a Test Match.

It is good to see that the NT will be taking part in the NQ Junior Championships this year.

NT played in the State League comp in the early 90's when the Brisbane comp played as Capitols & Metros (Fatty Vautin's first foray into Coaching!).

I believe Les Boyd played for them and Steve Rogers (RIP) was involved as Coach or administrator

I ran tipping comps on the 1994-95 BRL and 1995 Winfield State League, and Qld Cup 1996 - 2003. We had a weekly newsletter with faked articles on tipsters and footy superstars like Wayne "Krusty the Clown" Miller.

I remember the 1995 Winfield Cup vividly as there were so many teams from all over the state. Some wild score lines too. "The Rockhampton Rustlers"!!!!
