I don't have the time to watch every game every week so might be a bit of a funny team but this quickly put togeher seems stronger than the game 1 team:
1. Ponga 2. Coates 3. Holmes 4. Tabuai-Fidow 5. Taulagi 6. Dearden 7. DCE (C) 8. Fotuaika 9. Grant 10. Tino 11. Cotter 12. Nanai 13. Carrigan
14. Walsh 15. Horsburgh 16. Jai Arrow 17. Kurt Capewell
18. Kurt Mann
---
- Toia unlucky to miss out but Holmes has great experience at this level and probably a more suitable choice at centre as opposed to a 13 match rookie player.
- DCE remains because I feel it'd be detrimental to the team to drop their captain and best half from game 1. Obviously the early reports are that DCE will be dropped though, I'd be waiting until next year to do that. Munster misses out as he was absolutely awful in game 1 and has been for quite some time from memory.
- Mann unlucky to miss out on the utility spot but as a NSW fan I would definitely be more afraid of Reece Walsh coming off the bench with 20-25 to go compared to Mann.
- Horsburgh, Arrow and Capewell seem a lot more intimidating than Fermor, Loeiro and Collins as well. The forward pack from game 1 needed desperate changes.
