QOTSA - Lullabies to paralyse

Couldn't find a thread on this, with Josh Homme being the most talented young musician alive (my opinion) I thought it deserved a run. Whats the opinion of QOTSA fans on the new album? Too soft? Missing Nick Olivieri's madness? I personally think it is their worst yet but in saying that still think its a good listen, not as heavy but has still has some great guitar work and is a good album to listen to when you get home after a very large night out and your brain is quite accomodating to strange sounds. Thoughts?

I can't stand QOTSA for some reason, but i love KYUSS, homme's former band when he didn't sing. (his voice is boring imo)

Not me, I must have imitators! Big fan of Kyuss aswell but Garcias voice is a little too scratchy for me

I got it and I like it better than the last one.
All that radio DJ banter stuff gave me the sh*ts.

It's a good driving record.

The DVD is interesting as well if your into seeing how things are recorded.

I read that is the idea of this record.
I can't recall where I read it or heard it but Homme said it is late night listening.
I'm cool with that.
Headphones on, it's 2am and cold and raining outside .

Burn the witch.
