I just have to say that if Geoff Tate doesn't have the greatest voice of all time live, I don't know who does. Unbelievable.

Yep Jet city woman was awesome, even Empire was good.

Had goosebumps when the opening riff of Revolution Calling blasted out, this was one band I thought I would never ever get to see live.

There were some old schoolers there  Its gigs like that where I usually bump into guys I havent seen since the 90's, back when we were all younger and at the local scene week in week out, due to having mates in bands.
Ahh the memories

Was going to go with Parra Jesus but had to work, from all reports though they weren't that good anyway?

Well were they?

They were really good Ron.

The sound was great, practically cd quality and they were tighter than a nuns nasty. Geoff Tate was brilliant as Hev stated, awesome vocals. They havent lost anything over the years.

f**k i would have love to have gone. My sister who is 35 use to be a Rock promoter in the 80's and use to see all these hair bands for next to nothing, all her friends would have been there, most of them still live in the Parramatta region.

Well considering Ben Gibbard has a better voice and was playing in Sydney at the same time, I'd say I am glad i chose the death cab gig over this one. It was bogan central out the front of the metro when we walked past. I think everyone wanted to kill us because we were wearing indie shirts and black jeans.

'Twas a sensational gig, well worth the 18+ year wait. I had them well and truly marked down as a band i'd never get to see. Lived up to every expectation i had of them as a live band, and i wholeheartedly agree: Jet City Woman was brilliant!

Looking forward to Kreator next month for that reason, might have to find a denim vest, black drainpipe jeans and some basketball boots for that one!!

Wow, you listen to commercial music and you're calling Queensryche boring?

I think you're living in a parallel universe

Thats what the fans are calling the new Death Cab Taxi Ride album isnt it? Boring? Since they recorded it on a major label? Indie Indie What the f**k is Indie?

Your village people meets bros INDIE crapola ban could not hold a candle to queensryche, still I dont begrudge your poor taste, I only pity you for missing out on quality.

Go the raiders.
We have differing tastes and i was so high (a) when I walked past and (b) when i sat down and wrote pretty much exactly what Ben Gibbard had to say about Queensryche andyway.
