because people assume they can vote being a season holder to football games but get a membership to leagues club .Why wouldn't you get a right to vote for the product you are paying for
Um, you need to be a Penrith leagues club member to vote and you get a Penrith leagues club membership with your footy membership (or at least that used to be the case) and you are saying people don't have a right to vote? I think you may have missed something.

The bigger issue is the lack of active voting by the member base. For change a rival ticket would need to be developed to bring the elections to the forefront of people's minds (and generally improve the current board's accountability).

it sounds to me like the leagues club membership forming part of the package is the best way to give them "season ticket members" a say. There was never need, no-one ever paid for the say because it was never part of the package or the constitution.

To try and change in any other way would be very very difficult. The basic governance structure has been in place since 1994 and was done that way to ensure that both PDRLF and PRLC are on the same page - or at least have the structure that makes that opportunity.

Also elections take place only every 2 years. The last time a vote was due there was no nominations except for the sitting board members. It is very difficult to unseat sitting board members.
