Is Nigel Wood the most despised man in In British Rugby League?
Your unhealthy dislike of Bradford Bulls is clouding your judgement. Many fans are saying ' well he delivered a 40 million pound tv deal last time'.Yes, comfortably.
He was never popular the first time around, less so now given the huge jump Bradford secured through Wood’d tenures at the RFL (the first time) and then Bradford.

Theres only one man on RL fans lips at the moment when it comes to dislike, and that that's the England coach.
No-one ever accused the masses of being intellectually insightful! And this is my point on rugby league summed up nicely. Those of us who are educated and live in the present recognise the vast changes to the landscape of television broadcasting since the TV deal that Wood oversaw and it’s not even comparable to now. It’s like saying all cup finals should be played at Odsal because that one time in the 50’s loads of people turned up, far more than Wembley this year. See, it’s lunacy. Anyway, the actions at Bradford and The RFL under his respective tenures have just fanned the flames of conspiracy at a time in society where conspiracy theories are rife, even more so with rugby league fans. Ultimately, it’s rugby league doing what rugby league has always done; living in the past
And that is called recency bias. The events that been within the news for months on end this year is the return of Wood, the expansion of Super League and Bradford Bulls. England have played the last 3 weekends and that is why they’re being spoken about. Almost nobody despises Shaun Wane, people just think he’s a limited coach and taken England as far as he can physically do.
The changes forced in by Wood and his posse of pensioners has set the sport back far further than Australia’s 3-0 win but hey, remember in 2000 when Bradford got 20k at Odsal?

Im just answering the OP by reflecting what the social media buzz is, and at the moment the buzz is all about Wane, and non of it is good lol.
Wood isnt liked generally but there are plenty who think he did a good job landing that tv deal. Most don't really care about the Bulls.
Today it’s not even close lolThe answer to the question isn’t Shaun Wane. Despised, he is not. Talking about social media and recency, isn’t the answer to the question.
Most definitely care about Bradford, IMG and their route into Super League. It’s you, the only person outside of Bradford championing them as a club and their inclusion. Wood is far more disliked than Wane, even after a 3-0 Ashes defeat, that almost everybody saw coming.
So you don't have a problem with the way he got the Bradford Bulls back into Super League despite finishing 3rd in the Championship, and not contesting the Championship grand final before the 2 teams that finished above them in the Championship and contested the grand final?Your unhealthy dislike of Bradford Bulls is clouding your judgement. The IMG club gradings are black and white, it's literally the point of them.So you don't have a problem with the way he got the Bradford Bulls back into Super League despite finishing 3rd in the Championship, and not contesting the Championship grand final before the 2 teams that finished above them in the Championship and contested the grand final?
Tell me was Wood ever chairman of the Bradford Bulls and a shareholder?
So you don't think Wood being a former owner/chairman and shareholder of the Bradford Bulls had anything to do with Bradford Bulls getting the marks they did?The IMG club gradings are black and white, it's literally the point of them.
Every clubs knows what they are. Bulls did nothing wrong, they played the game and played it well. So no I dont have a problem at all with the fact they graded higher than other teams. unless someone can show me some evidence the grading results have been fixed?
But back to the OP, today more people dislike Wane much more than Woods lol
Wrong, it's the former Chairman/owner and former shareholder at the Bradford Bulls who has now returned to working for the RFL, despite being relieved of his duties there before, and was paid off handsomelyYour unhealthy dislike of Bradford Bulls is clouding your judgement. Perhaps you need to go to England and attend a Bradford Bulls away game and sit with the home fans and ask them who they despise most Wood or Wane.Your unhealthy dislike of Bradford Bulls is clouding your judgement. Many fans are saying ' well he delivered a 40 million pound tv deal last time'.

No - because the IMG grading criteria was devised and implemented before Nigel returned to the RFL. There were no changes in the grading criteria this year dominated to last year.So you don't think Wood being a former owner/chairman and shareholder of the Bradford Bulls had anything to do with Bradford Bulls getting the marks they did?
Does Wood work the RFL now?
Did Wood when he worked at the RFL before sell the Odsal lease the RFL had at a vastly reduced rate to the Bradford Bulls before taking up his position at the Bradford Bulls?
No I don’t. the gradings are done by img not the RFL. Or are you suggesting somehow woods has influenced img to give Bradford a false grading? Tin foil hat for you if you are!So you don't think Wood being a former owner/chairman and shareholder of the Bradford Bulls had anything to do with Bradford Bulls getting the marks they did?
