I said earlier all I hoped for out of this game was for our for/against not to take a hammering and it's not looking too good at the moment.

All you ask is for the refs to be consistent. They penalise Penrith for lying in the ruck and then when the Roosters do it it's a knock on. Cordner was in front of the kicker for his try as a look at the replay clearly shows. He had one foot over the 20m line. Pearce was behind the line. A sin bin inside five minutes! When has that ever happened in the history of the NRL! Why not just give them the two points and save us the frustrating 80 minutes of Ikin and that muppet Raymond ejaculating over the Roosters.

We need to sort out our 5/8th because we looked disorganised and our last tackle plays were bad. We tried really hard and tackled well and Cartwright is showing he belongs in first grade. We were behind the eight ball after 5 minutes when Taylor went to the bin and we just never got the bounce of the ball,

I can't blame the ref for this one. Our attack looked unorganised and we didn't muscle up in defence, we never looked like winning this game.

Soward had a bad day, 19 rounds and this was probably his first bad game, not much you can do about that. Our go forward was 2nd best for 80 mins, without Mansour to paper over the cracks it becomes really obvious. That's my real concern, and the only real chance of fixing that this year the coach has decided he doesn't want in the team.

We're probably 1 or maybe 2 impact props away from being contenders, we've basically got 4 workhorses playing 40-50mins each, hopefully there's a pick up or 2 in the front row in the offseason.

Oh and put to bed the f**king throw it to the centre on the last play. It doesn't work often enough when it's Whare's side to be worthwhile, on Jamal's it's even more f**king useless.

Yep, it's incredibly pointless.

We are not a side with much in the way of personality or passion; our gameplan is to keep it tight and grind things out, so it's no wonder we look kind of clueless when that doesn't work and we have to chase the game.

Still, we had a fifth choice half out there, so it's not much of a surprise. Now it's on Cleary to figure out how get a roll on when it's needed.

Docker just isn't a rock in defence, and while he can put in big hits he misses as many as he makes. Offers nothing in attack. Get Taylor into his natural position, bring in Grant for Docker. Need size in our side. Carty can be a ball playing second rower, not a 5/8th. Moylan has so many errors at the back and we might be able to hide them in the halves. His tackling might tire him a little, but it's his quick hands and sly running that's an asset.

I think deep down most of us knew it was going to be tough backing up from the draining get game on Monday, particularly with key players out. Just hoped we'd keep it tighter.

Encouraging that the Panthers are spreading the ball around and making off the cuff plays in the middle. Had the roosters reeling but poor finishes/decisions killed all the hard work.

Had the Roosters reeling LMFAO. Really don't want to interfere in your game thread lads, but this bloke is dreaming.

Short turnaround didn't help.
New half pairing again.
Poor 5th tackle option and I think only 1 40-20 attempt in the 2nd half with a hurricane behind us.
I thought if we were only 12 pts behind at half-time we might be able to get back in the game but it wasn't to be.
It was fun watching Idris v Sonny. Points evenly shared I thought.

I would probably put grant starting docker on the bench and drop kite if it was up to me.

At this stage, Grant would probably tell Ivan to f**k off.
I know I would.
Agree we need some bigger forwards though.

Whats wrong with grubbering it in the in-goal to try for a goal line drop out. Thats a good fifth option.
Don't let them catch it from a chip in goal because then they get 20 metres free.
What happened to jamies big bombs. he was doing these shit kicks and shit passes.
