Yeah it's a bit early, but it's the first round of the year, plenty to discuss! Who's gonna partner Matai in the centres? Lyon, T Williams, Farrar? Starting halves? Rodney, Gulavao, T Williams or Rodney in the back row? Fire up lads!

Read in todays RLW that Farrar will miss the 1st 2 rounds with his pectrol injury, I have a sneaking suspicion that Des may go with Tony Williams to play centre
Back row seems pretty cut and dried I think with Watmough, Bailey and Stewart
Starting front row of King, Ballin and Perry

The Bench is what is gonna cause some surprises i reckon
will Des go with SeuSeu or have Ballin play 80min

This is why I hate Monday night games, just waiting around till the game starts, how slow is this day going?

Is there any substance to the rumour that Wolfman is out due to an injury he sustained at training and Farrar will take his place tonight?

I heard it, posted it on here, not sure whether it is true or not, leaning towards being a possibility.

i hope not... ive got $30 on manly 1-12...
i usually bet against the eagles (in my logic if they win - im happy, if they lose - i make money)
but i just think alot of people are underestimating manly... i hope im right:?

Well I don't think we lose much with Farrar replacing Wolfman (unless Farrar is being rushed back when he's less than 100%) but I'm just curious to see if it's true. It keeps getting taken down when posted on the MWSE forums so I'm thinking it could well be,

Go Manly, Jeez I'm pumped, I have a feeling, it's been a low key summer and we might just explode here tonight... explode Manly style. Without Orford we'll probably play more direct footy instead of running out of space on the flanks, this should create more space for G Stewart and Watmough, both of whom I reckon will have massive games.

Go Manly.

Poor discipline, and we looked unfit for our standards, couldn't keep up with Tigers.

I wasn't expecting too much out of this game, but jeez Tigers pack stood up a lot more than I thought they could.
