it is hard to get over stuff like that when officals blatantly cheat against your team. sh*t like this makes watching the boys go round each week really hard. hopefully the warriors can still make the eight.

good kicking by witt BTW :D!

Get over it? We were robbed! End of story. Yes we played badly 1st half, but we had you lot if you hadn't time wasted that last minute and a half. Morons!
(btw not angry with you or any cows supporters. just peeved with everything else)

Yeah, Hohaia is nowhere near as good a kicker as Martin is. Martin's actually been kicking very well this year too, I think Witt's better and will keep the job but Martin's been better this season than he usually is. I think starting Martin as kicker was a good plan as well. Witt had enough to worry about cementing a spot in the team, he probably was only in the team at the start of the year since Ropati was injured.

Speaking of Ropati I hope we see him at 6 next week with Witt to halfback if he came through the PL okay. Rovelli still seems to be lacking a bit of confidence and doesn't do much in the way of leading the team around. In the last few minutes there Witt always seemed to be trying to do something whereas Rovelli seemed very hesitant. The very last tackle rather summed it up where Rovelli hopped around for a moment before passing the ball to a teammate who was immediately tackled.

Otherwise disappointing to see a few decisions go against the team again. I'm convinced that they don't actually have anyone in the video ref box and a random number generator just decides if it's a try or not.

Pick a team and stick with them.

I wouldn't be surprised if you were another less prevalent Wittyfan/Lockyno1 clone.

When you have watched the game you might realise that neither team deserved to win.

People complain about the referees every week because the referees make shocking calls every week, and I don't just mean against the Warriors. People can wave it off as whinging as much as they like, but the refereeing standard in the NRL is poor. Even worse though are the video refs. I can excuse the odd mistake from the referee on field who needs to make a call in the heat of the moment, but the amount of dodgy decisions that come from the video refs is just shocking.

I don't like my team losing, nobody does. Check the games stats, and you will find that the cowboys played as bad as the warriors. It is wrong when a video ref makes a shocking call like that, it kind of defeats the purpose of having a video ref really.

But keep winding.

and why does it happen every week? because a team is always robbed just about every week in the nrl. the standard of refreeing is quite shocking and some of the most blatanly wrong calls are happening in games that cost teams points. it is no longer the onfield refs either who have been shocking for a few years now, the video refs have also dropped markedly in their standard. fans complain about the refs every week because they are making bad calls and not just bad calls but obviously wrong calls every week. the nrl is doing nothing about it. you have refs like shayne hayne in origin who doesn't blow a penalty for over 50 mins in a game and then a few days later blows the pee out of the whistle. I sure hope Mr cheating Nash isn't the video ref for too many more warriors games this year otherwise I can't see how they can make the eight.

Well played the cowboys? Oh really, considering all their head high tackles which went unchecked. Who was the guy that got Pricey high? The amont of forward passes they were throwing, not mention Webb's try came from a forward pass. Yeah, well played Cowboys indeed *rolls*

But Finch will always back the ref

and that is the worst part of it all. the nrl refuses to admit mistakes and backs the incomptent officals to death.

Dreadful first half of footy, I actually gave up watching it after the BS Carl Webb try cost me 4/5 in my tipping.

How serious is Thurstons injury and what did Ah Van do to justify his sin binning?

too bad it actually happened though and the nrl will do nothing about it. not to mention the mckinnon no try that should have been given and the sin bining of ah van. I am not sure if you can even count it as a whing. is blatant cheating and incompetence classed as whinging now or what? whinging is more resevered for slightly 50/50 calls and you know your team was gone not on obvious mistakes by the refs that cost a team a game.

Personally the Webb try being allowed is more outrageous than the sin-binning.

I honestly can't see what Ah Van did to get sin binned. Whatever he did you see probably every time a kick is put through and players go to ground as they chase it. Its just a shame that Archer and Nash already had the Cowboys winning that one.

Congratulations Cowboys!

We really didn't look like we wanted it tonight.

We can blame the ref all we like but solid sides don't allow the ref to dictate your game. The amount of stupid errors that we committed was outrageous.

Again congrats - you wanted it far more than we did.
