Name me a worse side. We had only one playmaker out there in Ennis who is a hooker playing halfback. Berrigan gave a bit of support but that was it, we had a lock/second rower at 5/8 and an all forward bench.

Salivor got you in one. Parra should have won by 20 against this Broncos backline, but performed well below expectations, hence the commentators criticism of them. As for your sh*te about the refs - you've been off the mark in nearly all of your criticisms. Quit while you're well behind.

The broncs played a forwards game your backs sucked if you had any better you would have beat almost anyone...

Bugger off you did, all game you were having a bitch about calls going against Parramatta and on most of them you weren't even close to the mark. I don't know what youre going on about Bazal with the Berrigan no try or refs not being on your side. If anything I thought Broncos were the unlucky side with some calls.

Not a very impressive effort by the Eels at all. You'll take the win no doubt, its better than a loss, but by gee, they've still got a long way to go. Cummins is an absolute joke of a ref. But what about the athleticism from Berrigan on his try! What an absolutely stunning effort to get the ball down. For the Broncos, a very gutsy effort by them and they'll probably beat the Sharks next week.

Geez i thought we played pretty ordinary tonight, sure the Bronc's played pretty well in the second half. But we just can't seem to finish sides off. Dave Taylor is an absolute gun, no wonder they weren't to upset at seeing Petro go.

I'll repeat it just for you, given you seem to be fairly slow. I have criticised his decisions both ways, ultimately of course the decisions against the Eels raised my ire more...In the scheme of things I don;t care if the guys playing my side get raped by the ref, except for the fact that it shows the sorry state the referees are in. I have also been very harsh on my own teams pathetic performance in the second half. Of course, a bunch of you lot have overinflated yourself because you only lost by four points, and the swagger is that of a winning side. Guess what, you still lost, despite how pathetic we were

He is a makeshift halfback though. He can do an adequate job alongside a dominant Lockyer but it was always too much to ask of him to lead this side with Carroll as his halves partner and Berrigan as his only support.

Doesn't matter who it comes from, the Parra boys did "suck". They were put under the pump to perform against a weakened and incredibly unbalanced side and they dropped their bundle like clockwork. For a team with premiership aspirations it's not a good sign. Sure they won, and good on them. But the true contenders for the title would've played Brisbane out of the game before they had a chance to make that late charge.

On paper Parra have the individuals to challenge for the comp. But as a team they are too inconsistent in many areas.

Best of luck, but at this stage they look shot.

I thought they played well in the first half, probably shouldve been up 20-0, but usually this when theyre up they dont really take the foot off the accelerator much.

But thats 2 weeks in a row they've slipped in the second half.

I think they will improve a bit, a lot needs to be done in attack. Riddell while he played well at dummy half, he took the wrong options again from dummy half.

Im mainly concerned about their attack from their own line, its just one out stuff from dummy half, you dont need that on occassions. Thank christ Grothe wasnt playing, cause he wouldve wanted to go from dummy half heaps of times and wouldve made at least one costly error

A win's a win, but now its crunch time on Sunday.

I wouldn't say we look shot...but the lack of performance in second halves of late is worrisome. We obviously have the ability to put on points, we just seem to go to the sheds in front and assume the game is won. It's not a good attitude, Souths and now Brisbane have nearly done us after 14 point halftime leads....Melbourne or Manly would annihilate us at the moment, we need to fix our attitude
