Hence my comment. (which was posted after the original one against Jane)

But since it's a free for all. I'm all over it.

To say you sound like their mother is meant to mean you are over the top in defending someone or talking them up(it'sa reference to how much mothers generally love their children). It gets said to men as well as women. It's not actually sexist.

A very strong side.

Some interesting changes in the team. I thought Phillips would survive over Chricton. He did really well in setting up that try for Blake in the Warriors game (after catching the Kikau offload) and has more pace than Chricton. With Chricton also leaving us at the end of the season I thought it would make more sense to give Phillips more game time at the expense of Chricton.

Looks like Peach will also be the replacement for Katoa when he goes off the field. I wonder if Griffin will try to play Katoa for more minutes (it hasn't been clear to me in previous games that Katoa was actually gassed when he came off).

Peach hasn't shown himself to be a particularly good hooker (certainly a step down from Egan in the number 9 role), so it'll be interesting to see how that plays out.

The other possibility is that Katoa plays 80 minutes and Peach comes into our forward rotation in some way (like happened in the first few rounds of the season before Blake got injured and when Wallace was playing 80 minutes at 9).

For now I am glad Hook resisted the urge to shift a centre to the wing..i honestly believed he would do it to Blake

I think he will come on and play a bit of lock and overlap some game time with Katoa hoping to up the temp of the game. But Katoa is definitely getting a rest at some point.

I think Katoa will play 80.

Crichton over Phillips confirms Hook likes a beefy winger rather than a speedy one.

I also thought phillips would survive other than chrichton on the wing since chrichtons form has dropped and he is bulldogs bound.but for mine i would have put whare on the wing and peachey blake in the centres that way its a full 1st grade backline and this is a very important game broncos will be up for this one we have to match fire with fire friday night

Whare is a better defensive centre than Peachy. Some of his hits this year have been amazing. Peachy is a bit 'hit and miss' in his defence.

Quite happy that Peachy is 14.

I do feel a bit sorry for Phillips in that I believe he goes much better on the right side than he does on the left. Would have liked to see him get a shot on the left (has a pretty good right foot step when he plays there). But I suppose Crighton gets through more hard yards.

Peachey's defence isn't very good at centre.
