He's fit, I just think Bennett isn't playing him at prop this year so there's no room as a backrower right now. Rochow and Costigan playing prop, McKinnon coming on for Smith and Houston/Scott playing 80 minutes.

I reckon we'll get this by about 8.

I think Lyon is up against Quinn so that's our main concern. Macca will definitely have some calls to make in D. Hopefully he makes em right.

I think we stand a good chance. I don't think Manly were all that impressive on Friday night. Brisbane really did drop off in the second half and Manly did begin to pile on the pressure and eventual points. If the squad remains fit and healthy throughout the match, then I think we'll be able to topple them. We did start slow against Wests and really only got our first chances off their mistakes so It's vital we start strong otherwise, we could have a repeat of the last quarter of last year. Also, we dropped off once Mullo went off and it really threw our structure off. Hopefully our halves can remain on the pitch.

Manly scored a lot of their points through exposing the Bronco's backs but ours should be able to match Matai, Lyon and their wingers. A little concerned about Quinn but I do hope that his effort against Wests was one off.

Always dreaded Brooky, especially after round 3 2011. Lost something like 5 players? Crazy. But for the first time in years we have a physical forward pack that I think is stronger than that of Manly's, especially without Stewart and Boyd does wonders as a third player-maker getting it out to the backs.

I'd say us by a two tries in easily the game of the round.

Let's hope this is not a made up story. Beau will be on a search and destroy mission on Brett Stewart. Fireworks . As for Quinny I cannot argue he was below par. I am counting the days until we can unleash Leilua. Timana is great for us, but I think he will need a massive year to hold out young Joseph.

I'm surprised Brett hasn't come out demanding an apology from Beau for wronging his brother.

Really looking forward to this game. While I was impressed with how we played Monday, I wasn't blown away, probably on account of how piss poor the opposition was.

I think given an even share of the ball our outside backs can match or better pretty much every team in the comp. What I'm really interested in is our halves and our forwards and Manly at Brookie is about as good a litmus test as they can get. They have been bashing us for years now it's time for payback.

Knights by 2.

Is anyone surprised that Manly are favorite with the bookies, and by a bit.. $1.40 vs $2.60.

Thought it would have been much more even and I can't say enough about how confident I am of getting a win on Sunday night.

There halves were outstanding Friday night. They're entitled to be favorites but I'll be surprised if they start that short.

We haven't proven anything yet, they deserve to be favourites. If we can beat them and beat the Cowboys the bookmakers will be taking us alot more seriously. So will everyone else. Bring it on She Eagles!

Their halves were good in the second half and average in the first.

Our halves were solid all game without doing anything too extraordinary.

The difference was the rest or our team was so dominant that the halves didn't have to try much. Their halves had to carry them over the line because they weren't as good across the park.

The Broncos pack wasn't as bad as the Tigers one, but it was well underweight and well beaten.

I agree, they should be favourites at Brooky but as was mentioned above i thought it would be closer. I still think we can steal a win.

There is nothing wrong with our pack plenty of of class and experience in that 2nd row and front row probably could say on paper one of the best in the comp its just our halves and outside backs are just shocking besides Hodges the rest are all QLD cup standard its going to be a long year it really is for us.

That said I think we played very well in the first half against manly who can be flat at times like they where in the first half but once they got in to the grind they so much like we where done and the halves are all class.

So if you guys can control most of the ball and not let their halves control the game you should be in for a chance.
