R23 FNF - Melbourne v Parramatta

Tony Archer has refereed parra to another loss.
We would be lucky to win 20% of games when he refs.

Hurriflatch you sadly represent the fickle nature of most parra fans... Grothe contributed today, so he made one error... its not like he dropped it cold, a swinging arm fro another tackler... it happens all the time.

When burt comes back, put him back at FB. I noticed heaps of times today, that Hayne chose to run in a backline movement when parra had numbers. I think we lost today despite playing a good game, im alot happier with today's loss than last week's. Storm utilised the dimensions of the field and the ref's generous penalty count, that proved to be the difference (and ofcourse 2 goals... and a lucky try)

Smith's kicking game isnt excellent. It's average at best... but parra's strength in kicking comes from their huge number of options.

Smith, Burt, Finch, Riddell, Marsh, Mateo. However, as a 2nd receiver it is finch or the FB thats in the best position to be an option kicker... this is another instance where Parra miss Burt, as his kicking in general play was exemplary.

Grothe cost the match, bombed a absolute sitter of a try..mind you Inu didn't help either with his pass to Slater!

100% agree. Grothe once again lets his team mates down. The sooner Burt gets back and this guy gets dropped the better.

Well it is pretty obvious. And you can't say Grothe did not cost the match when you lose by 4 and he drops a sitter over the line. That is not logic! Grothe is extremely ovverated, in fact when was his last GREAT game!

Well you can put me on record here..but Parra will not win a comp with Grothe in the side. Defensively he is hopeless, he lets in more tries than anyone..not to mention his errors in attack. For every try he scores he bombs at least 3!
