Our edge defence was so much better without Beau Scott whose bad defence this year people seem to like to ignore

Not sure if its being ignored, he has been roasted for it in here plenty of times for his weak misses on the edge

Its bloody sad I tell you. Beau was one of those guys you had 100% faith in making the tackle every time. This year he has just been a shadow of his former self and given his family situation I can understand why. I think it would be best if he stands himself down for the rest of the year, not sure if it will happen though. They probably want him to at least play in the old boys match.

From what I've heard Danny's fear move after taking over was focus on wrestle and defence, I think the improvement was quite apparent last night

I think he was atleast on par with Will Chambers maybe even bettered him slightly, got stopped about an inch short of the line after he beat Chambers one on one with a big fend

I saw that one, it looked very good. He seems to developing into a really good 1st grader now, defence is still an issue but even Inglis and Folau at that age had defensive issues.

Beau started the year in red hot form, but he's been tripe since. I'm pretty happy to see him go tbo.

Watched a recording of the game this morning. Good to see Clydesdale finally using his kicking game, adds heaps to our options.

Yeah, it was about time, and it was bloody handy too. This shits me off, to be honest... because it's clearly something he's been coached not to do. When an average punter such as you or I can see these blokes for 80 minutes a week and it's enough to know we could use Clydsdales kicking game badly... and it's just nowhere to be found... it truly does perplex me how an entire coaching team can seemingly completely miss the boat.

One thing I really noticed was that Gidley was nowhere to be seen when we had to come up with big plays. Roberts was taking control and that REALLY helped our team. Gidley stuck to defending well and chasing down those bombs and grubbers. I hope he continues this for the next two games.
