I hate watching us play. I really, really do. I'm jealous of every other team in the competition. None of them have to deal with Gidley

These refs have helped Melbourne immensely.

No surprises really when was the last time a Melbourne team was touched up by the refs, never I would say.

It's the utter predictability of it for me.

There is only one tem that loses penalty counts at home and that's us.

I wonder if gidley knows something that we don't... maybe Wayne has already given him the tap on the shoudler and he's going for one last all-time horrible game.

Hey Kurt, see what smith did just there? That's what good hookers do. You see what you've been doing? That's what geniuss do.

Please, Gidley, f**k off and die

No Gids hate from me, he's been a soldier for us but it plainly apparent that he's not a hooker and his best days are well past.

I wish we could move him on with good grace and our best wishes but for some reason we think he's irreplaceable.

We will sink without a trace in 2014 if he's the first choice hooker.

Plenty of positives for mine tonight -

- Clydsdale was fantastic
- Forwards muscled up
- Gagai
- Roberts was great again

Seriously, we win that match without Captain dumb dumb.

He's not a hooker? Mate, he's not even a footballer. He's got absolutely nothing. Does way more harm than good when out there

Surely Gids will get a spank on the buttocks from Wayne this week. Hopefully he gives Uate a nice kick up the arse as well. We cannot afford to have a handful of tries scored down his side each week.

Melbourne seem to be doing fine after taking the 2.

The difference is a sense of timing. Other teams have it, we're coached not to.

Melbourne also ignored multiple penalty opportunities because they knew they could really swing the momentum - not just with points, but total domination of possession and just wearing down the opposition. We barely touched the ball while they went on their try-scoring spree (a spree that included not going for penalty goals).

We would have just slotted the 2 and casually gone back down our end, then within 2 minutes been on the back foot as our opponent lifted the intensity.

And it does happen basically every single time. We never back up penalties with a decent next ten minutes.

+ 1 ...I was listening on Triple M and apparently there was some very questionable calls. To me it really did sound like the ref didnt want us to win.

The tackle on Mckinnon - If it was Jeremy Smith tackling Billy Slater , bet ya anything Smith would of been sent from the field.

Exactly. f**king exactly.

IF someone comes in and starts believing we're f**ked for the season need to pull their head in. Storm should have trumped us, but they simply didn't, we held our own. I'm still pretty filthy over the Waqa try and the "loose carry" logic, but really, it didn't matter in the end.

We're improving, I'm confident we'll beat Sharks next week, even if this same team takes the field minus (hopefully) Gidley.
