Did McManus see the ball at all tonight? Thats nothing against him but wasn't he our leading try scorer last year? Bit odd that he hasn't seen any action out on his wing much this season.

Yeah Dobson can throw some nice passes. There was bigger problems out there tonight. Gidley being #1 of course.

McManus was playing?

Not a slight on him either...

complaining about the refs is such a waste of time. btw, the roosters got murdered by the refs last year and they seemed to go OK

Doesn't mean we have to agree to it, now remember with the Roosters, they were deliberately giving penalties particularly on their lines. Their leg up was not getting players sent to the bin 3 times per game through deliberate penalties and slowing the game. Exhibit A was their game against us at EAS, I seem to recall the NRL said someone should have went but it was too little to late.

Our passive approach just enables their shoddy behaviour.

Seriously, I think we all know Gidley won't be dropped and probably never will. We have to try and make it work with him because unless he's injured, he'll be in the side no matter what. Wayne and most supporters outside this forum all love Kurt and would be happy to see him roll out onto the field in a wheelchair.

He isn't going anywhere fellas and the sooner we realise that the better. Clydesdale is there now and he won't be going anywhere soon and Kurt's minutes will slowly dwindle and that's the most anyone can hope for besides injury which I certainly don't wish on him.

Uate however, may go but I highly doubt it. Being the confidence player he is, I fear that if he gets dropped we may never see him return to his best or back in FG at all. Although he does need the spear due to being a liability in a side that doesn't have the strength to carry one.

I've come to the realisation that we're not going to do anything until Mullen and Boyd return. Until then we do our best and keep rolling with the punches. Sure we're not winning, but we're not playing terribly either.

Just double checked, he was the equal leading try scorer in the comp !

Oh and another ominous stat, the only other time we have gone 0/3 to start the season was in 05 when we lost 13 in a row.

Dobson has been good in attack but bloody hell he has let us down in defence, there is simply no hiding that in the modern game. Its f**king so Dureau like it scares me. The sooner Mullo gets out on that right edge the better.

The only other word that needs to be said is discipline. Wayne needs to fine anyone $1000 if they give away a penalty. That shit needs to be curbed big time

Gagai's misses would have mostly been when he rushes up out of the line. I don't know why he's been doing that so much this year.

Was agreeing with you. I felt like McManus didn't feature at all.

Yeah but how much ground will we have to make up before we get our sh*t together? 0-3 start is fairly woeful, especially with the ill discipline. It doesn't matter who's out there for us if you give away 4000 penalties a game. If we lose another 2 or 3 in a row we're stuffed with how tight the comp is now.

The defence is a concern. 2nd worst in the league, conceding an average of 28 points per game so far.

Based on Bennetts comments during the press conference, there sounds like there is an issue.

He wouldn't speculate but said it was a delicate situation and that he was in Casualty.

I hope all is well.

Thank you to the people pointing out Gagai's errors/missed tackles. Seems like every week Uate cops 100% off the blame for that sides crap D when Gagai and Dobson have been woeful all year as well.

What were Bennett's comments on the game itself ?

Just on about the penalties and how you can't win giving away 15 penalties. Said it was dumb and they aren't learning.

Have a look yourself at NRL.com
