Gold Coast by 12.

Second week of travelling to Queensland, Titans have to snag a win at some point and It will probably be against us. Would be nice if this game could be the one to get our attack structured, give Mullo and Roberts a bit more confidence when running plays and spreading the ball out.

2-0 has been a nice change.

We should win this but I wouldn't be suprised if we don't. I'm not sure we can keep the intensity we've been playing with up every week. Also like Swarzey pointed out, two trips to Qld in one week will be difficult + there's a big chance the Titans will get their suspended players back so they'll be up for that.

We really need to focus on not putting ourselves under too much pressure with handovers and penalties so if we do have a flat week we're still in with a shot.

Titans started round 1 with lots of effort, last week the cracks appeared.

They're there to be beaten well.

Why? Its a 45 minute flight ffs and its not all that much hotter than the weather in Newcastle right now

Like CH said, we are expected to win so its probable that we will lose

I meant in the sense that in recent years we've been getting smashed up there. In the 3 games we went to Qld last year we let in a combined score of 126 points and scored 18...two of those games were after we'd found form too.

Obviously none of those games were on the GC but we seem to put in a lot of our worst performances in up in Qld (although we won up there last week so hopefully those days have past).

If we win this weekend, we play a Soward less panthers next week at home so we are in with a good chance of being 4 from 4 to start the season.

So now that I have said that we will end up being 2/4.

Suspended Titans have been cleared to return this weekend

The only player that adds anything is bird. The rest are average. However all will be out to prove a point so our boys need to be on their game or risk getting caught with our pants down.

I can see Bird trying to Smash Mullo and Tyrone (in response to our bullying JT last week). Too bad Mullo and Tyrone aren't pussies and won't give a crap.

Looks like Rick "copy/paste" Stone is at it again

I remember this being our biggest complaint about him before Bennett took over

Yep. This was the one thing with Stone that used to grind my gears like you wouldn't believe. I'm not of the view that you should be guaranteed a spot just because your side wins. Houston did his absolute best to lose that for us on Saturday and yet he still gets to stay there? Gimme a break. This is almost laughable now. I actually wish Stone could offer us some kind of explanation of why he's always picked. Maybe it would help some of us understand this guy's mysterious appeal.

I have issues with the Fa'alogo and to a lesser extent Gidley selections too but the Houston shit is the main offence here.

Certainly a much tougher team in the Titans this week and their attitude will be much better.

We need to attack their halves who are terrible in defence. 4 tries through Mortimer's defence and 2 through Sezer last weekend

Noticed Tyrone took all our kicks last week. Do we expect that to continue or did Gids happen to be off everytime we scored?
