Is anyone starting to get concerned that we're playing really badly, or just happy that we're having a dig at this point? I guess it's only Round 3 - you take whatever points you can get this early in the season... but geez, I'm not looking forward to the Panthers next week.

f**k our halves have had a shit start to the year. Both have been nothing short of below average.

Do we have any other halves options at the moment? Can Sione play halfback? lol

we missed his defence.

that said, the line speed was great until the end. and the forwards busted their arses for the 80 minutes. if we had any semblance of direction or kicking game from the halves we would have won by 20.

Not overely concerned yet because I feel it's simple things we have to fix.

I feel like once we stop what we're doing with the bench and improve our kicking game we'll be really sweet.

I feel sick after watching that. So much f**king dumb.

If it wasn't for the fact that the last three seasons we've finished strong I'd be thinking that's about right. Halves and our attack were shit again but they'll come good. They always do.

I'll take a win over a glorious defeat any day.

Eventually we'll click, hopefully it's next week.

Sione can barely play fullback. For everyone writing off Mamo because he apparently can't pass, I haven't seen Sione execute a back line play smoothly yet. And that bomb he left was unforgivable.

He's already signed for next year. Drop him back to NYC to play in centres in prep for gagai leaving. We need a proper utility on the bench

As much as I'm really proud of the ticker shown, part of me wanted us to lose that so Stone was put under some pressure to make changes to the bench. We're never going to get any better until we fix that and winning is just hiding the problem. Stockwell is the only decent selection on there.

I have concerns about Mullo/Roberts too but we need to get some consistency at hooker/fullback before we can judge them too harshly IMO.

Haha f**k we're going to get monstered by the Panthers

Houston was his usual self, and Leilua may be the dumbest person alive. How many times has he run out already this year. Run infield you slob.

Captain Kurt lead us to victory yet again :sarcasm:

Shuffling our spine that much to accommodate an 18 year old that isn't really as good as the other options yet is very dumb, for sure. We've re-signed him, time to shift him back to Cup for a little while.

Snowy, Sims and Stockwell were tremendous. Houston was his usual hopeless self. I've seen enough after 3 games this year that he needs to be replaced. Having Sione and Randell on the bench would probably be more beneficial then having powder puff Houston there. He's one dimensional and offers no impact. Gidley played well, however he shouldn't have been MOM. Snowy and Sims deserved it in front of him. Again I thought Clydesdale was pretty mediocre today and I'm really wanting to get Randell back in the 17. Our outside backs again played pretty well tonight and they did look threatening at times. Mullen and Roberts were quite poor. Scott did great defense but again was quiet in attack. Smith offered a lot during his second stint, even though it only lasted 10 minutes or so. Fa'alogo offered very little throughout the match. His last 5 or so minutes he improved, but he still wasn't offering a great deal.

A very lucky victory but a wins a win :)

Same thoughts as me, particularly about Stockwell and Clydsdale.

But credit to Clydsdale on the Smith try assist, that was class.

Fa'alogo is pretty damn ordinary and doesn't seem too bright either. Lucky not to give away a couple of penalties.
