Good to see Mullen hasn't worked on that ridiculous chip-bomb one iota in the off season. It defies all football logic that it's still in his game after all these years.

Oh jeezus Gidley. We can't let that mistake turn into points for Panthers. That would be a massive blow before half time.

Vai vai an animal but running out of steam now.

Suck on that Bennett. More fun than I've had in three years.

Don't know how anyone could be unhappy with that half.

Bench has been strong, pleased with Vaivai's impact. Such an improvement.

It was a good effort to keep it at 18-4 because starting to derp around a bit but scrambled well.

Really important we didn't go the break thinking 'what happened to our big lead?' 14 points is by no means game over but the boys will like they've done well rather than let something slip.

We needed that half time break as the panthers were coming. Vai Vai looks good but has ran out of puff fairly quickly.

Great performance so far, definitely good to see us lose a lot less when Snowy came off today.

Half time was perfectly timed for us.

I have been impressed with Aku under the high ball, he has been good all year. Sione looks good under the high ball as well.

Jamal idris was causing some headaches in the last 10 minutes, we need to be careful with him as our left edge is looking weak enough in defence as it is.

House has been pretty good.

Faalogo laid a solid platform and has stepped up a gear today.

We can't try and defend that lead because 18 points won't be enough to win IMO.

Really impressed with the wingers. They obviously came with a game plan to bomb the crap out of both of them and they've both been fantastic under the high ball so far. Not impressed with our attack close to the line tho...to many balls going to forwards...gotta get it out to the centres quicker that's where our strength is.

Mullen has been a LOT better today. Kicking game hasn't been up to his previous lofty standards, but he's finding the grass. Has been very dangerous with the ball in hands.

Need to watch defence out wide.
Same tactics in 1st half - backs doing a lot of work hitting it up from our own half. It gives the fwds a bit of a rest to get composed and a bit more steam at the back end of the game. I reckon we will hit it up then spread wide in the 2nd half. Give the backs some space.
Houston has done a lot of defence.
Get composed and we can do this.
