I have no idea how we'll go tonight. We seem to have the wood over the Sharks when playing down there, but I really hold no firm confidence after out St George game.

Feeling more confident than I was earlier in the week. Still don't think we'll win but we are in with a shot if we play some better footy (which I think we'll at least try - they've acknowledged they played way too conservatively on Saturday).

Sharks going in as big favourites (I saw us paying $4 somewhere) will help too. We're a much better underdog side than we are favourites.

It was on ladbrokes. We were at $4 for the win last night. We might have come in now though. I was considering putting a sneaky on us at that but I don't have an account with them and reminded myself not to trust us lol.

Either way we're not going in as favourites which is better for us.

$4? Surely not. That may have referred to winning 13 plus. If that number was true then every man and his dog would be getting on it.

We've been at about $2 all week at every bookie that I check, if it was $4 it must have been a special. Sometimes Waterhouse and the like have specials where they chuck on a team at quite a bit over the odds to pump up interest in the game.

The hype has quickly outgrown the performance imo. I still maintain that if it wasn't for his age nobody would take any notice of him. In terms of contribution as a fullback / outside back in first grade he's been solid not spectacular. He's flat out recording a try, try assist, line break, line break assist, offload or even a broken tackle so far this season. He doesn't even look like he's about to do anything special.

I've got real concerns we paid big dollars for a three-brother package deal where one of them will be a decent enough first grader - not a match winner - and the other two will never make it.
