good win. I love beating the dogs.
I thoughts the following:
Hands was proper okay.
Moses was good - great player.
Penisini’s best game (first half at least) for the eels
Matterson is a weapon that we missed in the first several weeks.
Several of the boys are out of their depth at this stage.

A bit underwhelming overall, but hard to complain about winning, and it was genuinely comfortable - it really wasn’t a contest after about 20 minutes.

Interesting to see Hands be able to handle the full 80 comfortably. He was very solid, if unspectacular. But he was miles better than Reed.

There’s still plenty not clicking - Dunster and Russell still not great (though I thought Sean had a couple of nice touches towards the end), Bryce seemed to have regressed a bit with his defence, and Hopgood has too many errors in him. Lane is also still not quite back to 100 percent it seems, though he’s been solid enough.

I thought Matterson and RCG were fantastic today for the most part. It makes Matterson’s suspension all the more frustrating, we absolutely have at least another win on the board if he doesn’t sit out the first three rounds. And Mitch, Gutho and Dylan were all solid, Gutho particularly with some nice touches.
Always fun to belt Canterbury, but I did allow myself a wider than normal grin watching Reed nearly crying in the post-match interview on 9. He was absolutely shocking today.

We won, and won easily in the end. Two points is always good and now back into a positive for and against.

Primarily, we did little more than run through the motions and just do what we had to do to get the two points. Ultimately we've done the same two weeks in a row really, it was handy our opponents this week were well outgunned during the match.

As they say, a win is a win and in Round 7 that is probably all that matters.

We appear to have no idea what to do from a short kick off, but this is unsurprising given our lack of attention to detail in many other areas.
Yeah/nah. I didn't get my jimmies excited over that win. In fact, it masquerades our ability to close any game out. We're making up the numbers.

RCG was huge. Matterson also.
Hopgood made bad errors at times we could of blown the game open.
Our attack is clunky. But we won easily. Simmonson will come into he side next week. Russel stays in. I'd almost rather stick with Hands then bring Hodgson back. But atleast now we know he is more then capable.
If we have any cash to spend id like to see another forward. And perhaps another wong option.

Lane was much better this week. Grieg also I felt had his best game.

As a team, we haven't got that next level in us. Just my opinion.

Yeah, Greig was really good, bent the line well.
