Rabbitohs Farewell Trooper Jason Brown

[FONT=&quot]Rabbitohs CEO Shane Richardson, players Luke Stuart and Scott Geddes, and Membership Manager Paul Grzanka farewelled Trooper Jason Brown at his funeral held this morning.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Trooper Brown was killed while serving our country in Afghanistan during August.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Trooper Brown was based in Perth and was a proud South Sydney Member, himself being a talented footballer before joining the military.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]A moment’s silence will take place to remember Trooper Brown, as well as Private Grant Kirby, Private Tomas Dale and Lance Corporal Jared MacKinney, before kick off at Friday night’s game against the Eels. All of these servicemen have died in Afghanistan this month.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]“Trooper Brown was a proud Member of the Rabbitohs and it is only fitting that we attend the funeral and we recognise him at our final home game of the year,” Mr Richardson said.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]“It is a difficult time for his family, friends and colleagues and we are offering our support during their time of need.”[/FONT]
