I think Souths should be talking to Roosters about wanting to trade Ilias for Terrel May.

Both on contract for 2025 and both are what each club needs.

Roosters need a half we need a prop, at 450k who can play close to 80mins abit of an enforcer type.

Make it happen.

I would be also trying to sign Taylan also, he would come on the cheap to replace alex johnston.

Some big calls the club should be making.

Well a few more dominoes have fallen into place but still need to offload a player or 2 to make some moves. Dragons look like getting Gutho and will need another half. If all their preferred options stick solid where they are, they may have to settle for 5th choice Ilias (should Wishart, Brown, Trindall and Atkinson all stay where they are and we graciously decide to not stand in Lachie's way) which could open the door for us to make a move on a player position we need bolstering - outside backs and prop.

Silly season can be entertaining too.

Terrell would be a great get if we could nab him. His bro? Not so sure due to his DV charges but he's contesting it so would have to wait the outcome of that. Decent player who could play center or wing but AJ won't be going anywhere until he reaches retirement I expect which is still a few seasons away. He still has plenty left in the tank despite losing a yard of pace.

Im hoping munro will stay we have quite a few on the market so there is cap space, terrel may after just resigning with the rorters has been told to leave,we should snap him up
The Roosters don’t let someone go unless they have a good reason usually. I think more is going on behind the scenes something the Roosters are trying to hide something he’s done. The May brothers bring trouble if we are honest.

Anyway our cap is very tight not much room we simply don’t the money for someone like Terrell May. I’ve heard from good sources unless we move a player or 2 on which we are having trouble doing as there are no takers we will only be signing 1-2 cheaper guys to round out our top 30 for depth. Cap space is close to full currently barely any wriggle room.

I’ve been busy today but shocked nobody has posted about our offical coaching staff for 2025. I got my members email this morning.

I hadn't checked my email yet otherwise I definitely would have posted that I'm stoked about Sutto continuing his role as development coach and happy to see Clarkey get promoted. Overall very happy with the news!!

Michael Roberts is related to the Jet, Penitani carved up at Sharks that family is good at Rugby League.

Ngatikura is the Cook Islands hooker I think.

Junior Wright is a strong young winger/centre.

Elijah Keung in Flegg there are wraps on him from memory from Melbourne?

Yeah, some people tell their partners to change and not be who they are but be like someone else. Those people invariable are having relationship problems and blame their partner for being themselves instead of their ideal dream person.

He's a brash Indigeneous country lad and his personality is what it is. Some people love him and some people don't. But just accept it rather than wish he was some quiet, upright Church going white boy or whatever it is your preferred human is.

Sheesh..
Attention. Mitchell is not a bad person, he has no major felonies, AVOs, DUIs, brandishing weapons, attacking birds, threatening others etc. The comments re Mitchell in the media especially, are totally over the top. Even his "white powder" incident was greatly overplayed.
The central issue is his attitude to preparing and playing football: does he want to continue playing or not? Does he want to win on the field at this club badly enough?
To be fair, once Burt's return was all but confirmed Mitchell's form improved dramatically, as did that of many others. His subsequent injury ruined a strong second section of teh season for Mitchell. Let us all just see what happens under Burt's regime because Burt has returned here with a definite mission: to win a Title and cement his place as sin duda the greatest ever NRL Coach winning at 3 Different clubs.
