STID with an ageing # 6 whom is still injured + a #7 with no nrl game experience in the nrl, then throw in an average nsw cup hooker such as mamouseless + all of the present day injuries on top of that, id suggest we are in a world of pain at present and may miss the top 8 before a ball is even kicked..

I guess some of you have seen that, in light of our latest misfortune, some of the mental midgets here on LU have resurrected the pathetic LOL@Souffs thread. The way I see it is you are free to post in it IF your lame club has won more Premierships than us. Whats that? There is noone out there that qualifies to post. Let them have their petty jealousy though.

Souths board room are off with the fairies STID remember paulo, ilias, now we got mamouseless as our #9 from the nsw cup what a joke our recruitment is a disaster!!!!! I can tell you now STID these 3 duds would never get a go at the purple puke they only buy stars and we buy duds and lots of them..even the rorters had paulo as a 4th tier winger in their squad I was in stitches when they bought him from us i laughed for months lol..

Well, it looks like we're up against it already to start the new season with injuries absolutely hammering us before the season has even started. It's hard to cop but we have to stay solid and keep our support for the club and not turn against them or each other.

We have reasonable depth in those positions so we should still be competitive but lets be real, they are our 2 best players and we will be much weaker without them.

Jye Gray is obviously going to be our fullback for the first few months of the season and he's a terrific player but has the weakness of being vertically challenged when isolated under the high ball and has been picked off by players flying through. Wayne will need to get our wingers to circle back and provide protection for high balls, especially Munro who is pretty tall.

Other than that, the silver lining to Latrell's injury could be that Gray blitzes it at fullback and makes himself undroppable to the point of possibly forcing a rethink as to where Latrell plays when he does come back.

Tallis Duncan should also get the opportunity to really break out this season and make a name for himself now that Captain Cam is out for most of the season. Not sure who secures the 13 jumper but Aitken will be back in about round 4 and either Tallis, Arrow or Keaon might 13.
