Why is this game being played at Redfern Oval tomorrow?

Has it got something to do with the number of games played on ANZ's surface?

The South Sydney Rabbitohs would like to inform their Members that the Club's round 15 Toyota Cup match against the Gold Coast Titans will be played at the Australian Technology Park Performance Centre at Redfern Oval on Saturday 18 June at 2pm.

The game was originally scheduled to be played as a curtain raiser to the Rabbitohs vs Titans NRL match on Friday 17 June however to fulfil a request from ANZ Stadium to preserve the turf during a busy period, the game has been moved to the following afternoon in Redfern.

ANZ Stadium Managing Director Daryl Kerry said: “With four events scheduled across just five days, maintaining the high standard of ANZ Stadium's turf becomes a bit more of a juggling act than usual.
“We're hugely grateful to the Rabbitohs for their support in relocating the Round 15 Toyota Cup match. Other clubs have been asked to do the same and have also helped out where possible.

“The move will help the Stadium's ground staff deliver a premium playing surface throughout the rest of the football season.”

Entry to the Rabbitohs vs Titans Toyota Cup match is free.

In addition, the round 16 Toyota Cup match between the Rabbitohs and the Brisbane Broncos will be played at North Sydney Oval on Sunday 26 June at 1pm. The Rabbitohs vs Broncos NRL fixture will be played at nib Stadium in Perth on Friday 24 June at 7pm WST.
