It’s their obsession with old boys around the club that keeps their shit culture going.

Yep agree. They are shite. How their coach keeps his job amazes me
He's part of the "Myth Club". Seibold, Kearney, and sometimes Arthurs, who seems to drift in and out of the club. Those who have been an assistant at The Storm and not gone on to greater things. Madge was an exception, not sure if he's applied for membership now or not..

Yep, the fascination with getting coaches from a successful coaching tree doesn't always work.

Seems to rarely work with Bellamy.

Doesn't seem to work so far with Cleary with Barrent and Brennan. Curious to see how Ciraldo goes.

Jury out on Robertson but Fitz looking pretty good so far, but he served a long apprentice ship and wasn't rushed into it. Also makes you think his input was more than your typical ACs from the Bellamy tree.

Yeah, the Robbo blood lines of coaching seem to be the better path, Greeny (RIP) was one, Carty wasn't so great. O'Brien only did the one season and reneged on his deal, shows his character right there. Fitz stood by his word with them.
Yeah I'd forgotten about the failing Pennies AC's, they have two more in their club next year, Ciraldo and Webster. It will be interesting to see how they go.

The Melbourne Storm success can only be attributed to money no other club had been given such a leg up to make Rugby League the premier sport in Melbourne..

So as I said previously we want to avoid the Panthers and Roosters until the GF.

So the key game this week other than ours is the Eels Vs Storm.

If the Eels win they get 4th and Storm finish 5th and then most likely Roosters and South’s finish 6th & 7th.

That will mean Roosters and South’s go onto Panthers side of the draw.

That would be a great draw for the finals for us.

It will mean Eels and Storm go to our side of the draw but I’ll take that to avoid the Roosters who have the wood on us and are in awesome form.

Thanks for working that, was thinking earlier which side teams would and I couldnt be bothered.

I am not sure I see the Storm losing on Thursday so that might throw the plan into disarray.

Part of me wonders if the Roosters have peaked too early, got another big game this week then sudden death. They probably haven't but I'm not too concerned with playing them for some reason.

As much as the Raiders have been winning lately, I reckon they will be eliminated week 1 of the finals…
