I started a thread a while back about greyhound syndication. I had just bought a share in a pup and was considering buy another share in a new pup. Well as things turn out, the first greyhound had to be put down before she even raced after not producing calcium in her spine But I did end up buying a share in the 2nd bitch, which had her first race a week ago and she won :crazy: Heres a video of her win

I have owned dogs, and still have a few dead heads that were too slow, living on the parents farm. (They dont deserve to be put down, because they are too slow).

My first dog was beginners luck, and what gave me the bug!

Believe me, finding one that goes fast, and wins A race is hard. Finding one that can win in town, is really hard.

Beginners luck. I have not had a dog since, that could win much more than a maiden at Young.

Awesome stuff NSE. Shes running this Friday in the final at Casino. Drawn box 1, dont really fancy her chances as theres a lot of quality dogs in the final, but it should be fun.

This Friday, Casino Race 8, Pop Northfield Final. Like I mentioned before, shes drawn well in Box 1, but theres a lot of quality on the outside of her. Her trainer reckons her best will be about 500m so if she'll probably need a bit of luck this Friday.

Well, I paid $550 for 10% of this current dog, and that included all costs with nothing else to pay. She's only raced twice, and has about $800 in winnings, with this final worth $5000 to her if she wins. There's no guarantee with greyhounds (my first one had to be put down without running). But everything has gone well with this girl, touch wood and I won 3 times my investment after betting on her first win so Im laughing from here.

Yep, happy with the run, $1000 for 2nd place too The thing that won absolutely cruised, a race record I think. 1st, 2nd, 2nd in her first 3 races so very pleased with that.

If she pulls up alright, the trainer is going to take her to Brisbane and run her over 500m, he thinks it will suit her better.

Disappointing result, but a nice run none the less. She got hammered out of the boxes, back to second last after the first corner, but came home strong for 3rd.
