I'd go

Dugan
Monaghan
Croker
Thompson
Vidot
Campese
McCrone
Fensom
Harrison
Learoyd-Lahrs
Shillington
Tongue
Tilse

Logan
Miller
Carney
Thurling

Nothing against Picker but TLL looked best when he was starting last season and I would like Tongue having a break from hooker to freshen up. Tilse seems to have more impact when he starts, in particular his offloads while Logan was effective off the bench yesterday.

An all round good effort , our line speed was good , completion rate wasnt bad either.
Tongue played real well tonight , he made some good dummy half scoots.

We werent brilliant but were solid and we took our chances, it was also an away win , something we arent supposed to be able to do.

When Monas returns I am a big fan of playing him on the wing. Stuart will be the one to drop back to SL .
I would also have carney on the bench as an utility who could cover hooker or a backline position. apparently he ad a strong ame for SL , not a bad sign after such a major injury.

I think we carry four forwards with maybe Waddell and utilising Tongue and JT as utilities if need be. I still think Carney is another month away from being ready for first grade again.

That would be the way to go
I like the look of that bench, plenty of impact there, carney might turn out to be that superb super sub.

What to do with Monaghan?

I'd be putting some brochures for england in his locker. He's not required at the club imo. Plus the money he's on will be desperately needed to retain the likes of dugan.

best option for him would be to try and hook up with warrington so he can finally play with his brother again.

OK Mogg - Utility player off the bench... Something we haven't had since Chalk left (the end of his run at the Raiders was really good)

In that game we used TWO interchanges in the first half and didn't look bad for it... I think it proves we have the fitness out there and, all going well, that means 50% of the bench is just for backup or sudden impact of a fresh player. I liked seeing the forwards who were doing well staying out there... The bench rotation we went with against the Eels certainly wouldn't work every week but it would be awesome if we could pull it off.

I still think they don't drop off because they are tired, they drop off because they get all hyped up then sit on a bench for 40 minutes before they are asked to come back into a game running at 200 miles an hour for the last 20...
