Kris... I couldn't see them either, so I was really puzzled by that, and I am a bit of a grammar and spelling fiend! As you know, my only suggestion was about paragraph breaks....

I think this team really has the makings of something special! We have a top mix of writers that come from different angles with their stories. It seems like a lot of the judges love the personal pieces about childhood league and recounting old times, so with 69 and Souls and Millsy we've got that area covered. Greeneyed the resident historian will never let us down, you can tell he lives for his raiders. Schifty - great article mate, excellent reading - I'm sure it will continue. Same with Chippo - I was blown away by your Round 1 article and I thought the score was very low.

Kris man - you can tell you have written a few essays in your time mate - they are so well written, everything you do! Good stuff. Plus everyone else that's chipped in - Ed (although I think he's placed himself on the open market!), IBG.... the list goes on. I can't wait to see woodgers' debut - knowing him I think he will tear it up with his voluminous league knowledge.

44.1 apparently would have come close to winning the 2004 title final so we've got a team that can produce the goods.

I say we have a Christmas break and get the guys in that haven't had a run for the Cup match.

Oh, and speak to hrundi's manager about whipping up a contract. ;-)

Thickos, cant talk with Hrundis manager yet, we are full with a quota of 15 players, i definatly wont be cutting anyone that is in the team so unless someone quits then i unfortunatly we cant accomadate him

well with the PvP tourney done and dusted, PM's will go out to every member in the team on monday or tuesday reguarding their place in the team, if you wish to soldier on like i think most will then sweet as, but if you want to quit for any reason then no pressure to continue

just on the PvP cup match with the undefeated Bulls, we both were looking to have the match in late January/early February so i proposed a date which was accepted

our next match will be:

PvP Cup - Bulls V Raiders
Kickoff: Sunday 6th February
Fulltime: Wednesday 15th February

So plenty of time, enjoy the break guys, you's have earned it, im hoping to play a team with people who havnt had a run or a decent run anyways.

Before we get on to that, as i said when we kicked off this thing, i was only temping a captain, id be honoured to contine in the role if thats what you guys wanted but im also happy to go back to simpleton ville if the majority wants someone else in

we will have an answer to that question sometime next month
but i recon we are a better than 70% chance
we won 2/3 games, beat reigning premiers and feilded 5 in every game. They said results dont matter as much as proving you can feild a team. i recon we proved that and that we can be a competitve team so i cant see why they'd say no.

However lets not count our chickens before they hatch

Looking at that list I think woodgers and Raider_Azz should get a run in the final, plus a few of the others that have only had one hitout. I think kris needs a well earned rest

The rest ill go off anyone who is available and willing to go, it should be known that RifRaf, Davester and innsaneink are in the bulls team and will probably line up against us. So im sure we will be able to find a few that are keen to stick it to them
