;-)
So a cost of $120 for me and my partner to go to the football for 1 game before paying $4.50 for each beer.
Not very good value at all.
Entry to the game you're getting into for free would be $30 each, so you're already half to getting your money back
you get a keyring as part of the merch for being a member, thats probably $5 each, so you got $25 to go
you get a members hat as part of the merch for being a member, thats another $20 each, so you've now only got $5 value to redeem
for that $5, you get the chance to buy $15 home tickets from the club direct if you ever make a home game (saving of over $10 per game attended each) plus members benifits, which are:
-10% discount on Raiders merchandise purchased through
www.raiders.com.au or Jerseys for Work and Play, Brand Depot (Canberra)
-Invite to members only Pre-Season BBQ with the Team at Raiders HQ
-Raiders Green-Eyed photo. (NB: Taken at Pre-Season BBQ with the Team - featuring all available Club players/coaches, sponsors and members)
-Exclusive members only discounts from Raiders corporate partners
-Automatic subscription to the Raiders weekly on-line newsletter
-Log in and access to members only section of
www.raiders.com.au for all the latest and inside news
-Access to members only activities and events at all 2009 home games-Discount on membership for future seasons
-----------
Even if you dont make the pre season BBQ, a game at Bruce or read the online newsletter, or use the members only section, or re-new the following the following year, or use the discount to get cheap goods from Raider's sponsors...
You're measley 5 bucks is just your way of supporting the club, at worst you've lost $5 of value to be a Raiders member but are support the financially... at best you're WAY ahead of the $60 tag asssosiated.
I dont think value for money is an issue on this membership mate ;-)
