Who say's monday night football games are not the bottom of the barrel?

This monday night we have a game between two of the most inept teams i have seen this year, real ceallar dwellar stuff, I don't think tooth picks are enough match stick's have a heavier gauge so I am buying some red heads.

When do you think Foxsports made their selections for this round of Football? One of those inept teams you have seen this year, real cellar dweller stuff, played in the Channel 9 “Live” Friday night fixture. They were Channel 9’s number one pick this week. Only a complete dope would think the schedule for each round was done the week before,

Cellar dwellar stuff,any of those game tonight would have had more appeal than this tripe,Monday night football always will be rubbish and bottom of the barrel stuff...thats why we are on,even a dope would have realised that we were going to be rubbish prior to kick off for the last 10 odd seasons...that's why we find ourselves in yet our 2nd monday night game,the only games i don't watch are that on a monday night..two reason's, rubbish games and the weekend is over.

Hmm that's something else to look at... Games you don't watch we have a much higher win rate in... I'm guessing, you being such a dedicated fan, that it wouldn't take much for you to never watch a game again? Say a six pack of VB? Then again that maybe considered doing something useful to support the club so I guess that wouldn't be up your alley...

I don’t think the current ratings support the theory that Monday night Football is leftovers. There have been some good games so far including Tigers V Sea Eagles and Rabbitohs V Bulldogs. Next week it’s another cellar dweller clash between the Storm and Sea Eagles. Followed by two other cellar dwellers, Sea Eagles V Titians. Great theory…..

This is utter nonsense. The Monday night games on Foxtel draw the same number of viewers as the Saturday ones.

Monday night has also produced some of the better home game crowds, at least as far as the Raiders are concerned.

Personally I hate being on free to air more... Sucks to wait until Monday for the game, and the short turn around is almost always a killer, but it does beat watching ads or waiting for your "live" game to be played at 9:30pm local time because they always put the f**king QLD team on first... Oh and the Raiders generally get good crowds to Monday night games (at home) so I don't really see an issue with it... If it was really that bad, they would drop it... The players dislike them so it can ONLY be for the ratings and the crowds...

My only issue with Monday night football is we are virtually gaurunteed of getting whaled the next week.

There should be a rule that if you get MNF you are inelligible to play until the following Sunday at least. We always seem to get short turnarounds and it's a killer. When we played the Titans, they had had 8 days and we had 5. Where's the fairness?
